About me

I’m Myles, a Game Master with 11 years and 4,000+ hours of tabletop experience, running in-person and online games without pause. I build dark, gritty, high-drama worlds full of unique gods, political intrigue, and realistic consequences. My longest campaign lasted five years, and moments like a battle against a titan who was also a world’s moon still linger in my mind. I run mostly theater-of-the-mind, using maps and resources for complex battles, and I “yes, and” player choices to let them shape the story. Players often say they feel part of something epic—a standard I aim for every session. I work exclusively in D&D 5e homebrew, drawing mechanics as needed, but I’ve also run Pathfinder 3e, D&D 2e–5e, Shadowrun, Cyberpunk 2077, and more. I favor epics, horror, politics, and character-driven stories. Comedy rarely appears because I take stakes seriously. Tabletop RPGs are more than games: they let you explore choices, test morality, and grow empathy. I build stories with a moral core—a lens for self-reflection through the characters you embody. Bring dice, imagination, and maybe a meat-stick snack or energy drink, and let’s create a world that lingers long after the session ends.

Safety

How Myles creates a safe table

Player comfort and emotional safety are priorities at my table. I use a simple, clear set of tools to keep every player supported, respected, and comfortable throughout the campaign. Session 0 Before the campaign starts, we use Session 0 to: Review boundaries, preferences, and topics to avoid Establish tone, themes, and expectations Discuss character dynamics and cooperation Clarify any personal comfort levels players want noted This session ensures everyone enters the campaign aligned and safe. Safety Tools Used • Breaks Players may request a break at any time, no explanations needed. Breaks are normal and always respected. • Open Door Anyone can step away from the session for any reason. No questions, no pressure, no spotlight drawn to the moment. • Debriefing After every session, we have a short, structured check-in. Players can talk about what felt good, what felt off, or anything they want adjusted moving forward. • Luxion Technique A fast, conversational check-in method used during emotionally heavy or intense scenes to ensure everyone still feels grounded and comfortable. How I Maintain a Safe Table Zero tolerance for harassment or disrespect No PvP unless unanimously agreed upon Consent-first approach to tone, themes, and emotional intensity Constant respect for player boundaries Transparent DM decisions and communication My goal is to create an environment where players feel safe expressing themselves, exploring character arcs, and enjoying meaningful long-form play.
