About me
I'm Darth Wingnut. I became addicted to D&D when I was 14 and a friend asked me to run a game for him, though that also means I've been Forever DM for 34 years now. I started running games online just over a year ago and am looking forward to sculpting a story for you.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need to join my Discord server Players will need to have access to D&D Beyond Players will be asked to fill out a questionnaire prior to their first session
What Darth Wingnut brings to the table
I try to embrace the rule of cool as a DM, but I am also eager to hear what my players want to have as part of their experience to shape the campaign to them. We will have a free Session 0 to make sure all players are on the same page regarding expectations.
Homebrew rules
I am a little more flexible with what classes may attune what items, for instance I allow Artificers to attune various staves, using the basic rule of thumb that if you can cast the spells you can attune the item.

Safety
How Darth Wingnut creates a safe table
I will be sending players a questionnaire prior to the first session asking for the things they would rather not be a part of the game as well as having cards that can be sent in Discord to let me know if the session is veering into unwanted territory. The games will always be with an open door policy, as people's mental health has to be a priority. After each session I will be available for private chats for an hour after our scheduled end to discuss with any players any problem points for them. Always remember, I am here to facilitate your experience, I want to make sure the experience is a good one.
