About the adventure
You had lived your life as normal, until one day you bear witness to what seems to be the end of time. Out side you see cars crash, people running in panic, and explosions in the distance as aircrafts fall from the sky. You turn on the TV and every channel is showing an emergency broadcast, reporting a wall of bright baby blue light thats washing over the Earth, any living person touched by the light screams in fear and dissapears beyond the light. With nowhere to go, you're hit by the light and dissapears from the world you knew. When you wake, you tell yourself, "what a weird dream," and go on about your day in your hometown in the Kingdom of Alura. This campaign has a mix of themes similar to Jobless Reincarnation and Konosuba. There will be little need for components in spells, forgiving but harsh combat, and plenty of opportunities for player rp. I as a dm actually encourage roleplay at anytime during the game, and hopes to find players who can handle dark humor.

About me
Hi! My name is Niko Kat, and I've been a DM for a little over a year now! Most of my campaigns are fueled by my ADHD, hyperfixations, and special interests, so any one of my stories can be a mish-mash of silly, whimsical stuff, and gross and demonic! Though I have vague notes and plot points of what I want campaigns to consist of, I usually improvise, and make things up as I go, and honestly, I think I do a good job at it. I'm definitely no Brennan Lee Mulligan, but I think I can tell and weave a story together that's engaging and leaves players wanting more.

Creating your character
Characters will be created using DnD Beyond, and before the first session. The starting level will be level 3, so you can multi class if you choose to do so. You will need to have your character approved before proceeding to the session.

Preparing for the session
This campaign will be played on Discord, so you will need to have an account and a mic to be able to play over Voice Chat.
What Niko Kat brings to the table
As DM, I tend to go by Rule of Cool, to encourage my players to get creative. I also encourage players to roleplay as their characters, as I will do the same. Though I will do voices, I do not expect my players to do so if they're uncomfortable.
Homebrew rules
I will allow certain homebrew items and spells as long as they're talked about first. I have the right as DM to reject and deny any homebrew spell or item. As for homebrew rules, the only thing that I know for certain has changed is for death saving throws. I will role dst's, to create more stress and tension during those scenes.

How Niko Kat creates a safe table
Since there will be a lot of adult and mature topics sprinkled throughout the campaign, I as DM will provide a content warning before each session with such topics, and the players have the opportunity during that time to tell me if they are ok with it, or need it changed or censored.
