Those born with such heritage, the Godkin, are both revered and feared, their destinies often intertwined with the fates of kingdoms. After awakening, Godkin must attend the Aurion, the College of Divine Blood, a sprawling citadel of gleaming spires and hallowed halls, perched atop the Isle of Concordia. From the first day, students are tested not only in magic and combat but in diplomacy, intrigue, and the subtle art of surviving the ambitions of their peers. Life at the Aurion is a delicate dance of ambition and secrecy. Divine politics govern nearly every corner of the college: influential patrons, rival Godkin houses, and ancient orders all seek to shape the rising generation. Students navigate a world of complex alliances, whispered rivalries, and ceremonial contests designed to measure both wit and power. Each choice carries consequences, and every alliance is as much a gamble as a promise. Outside the college, the world reflects the consequences of divine influence. About me
Hello there, Pull up a chair, stay awhile, and listen. Let me introduce myself. My name is Justin, a storyteller of sorts. I have been involved in many stories, and seen heroes rise and fall: tyrants overthrown and titans slain. Dozens of adventurers have passed through my tavern over the last 22 years. Each of them is full of bravery and courage looking to make a mark upon the world. It has been my pleasure to record these stories and retell them to those sitting here on a cold winter night. If you have the time and... the coin, perhaps I will regale you with a past tale or forge a story of your own. I am a long-time GM that started running online games when things began to slow down in the world. As a GM, I strive to follow the saying "This is my players' story, I am just the one telling it." I do this by providing the best possible experience for the players at my table whether that is by finding fitting music, creating beautiful maps, developing strong NPC ties, or fulfilling dynamic stories. With regular feedback from the players, I am willing to adapt where needed and continue to grow in my talents.

Creating your character
Character creation will take place during Session 0 as a collaborative process with the rest of the party. This allows us to build strong connections between characters from the very beginning and ensure everyoneās story fits naturally into the world. You'll have the chance to discuss your concepts, align your goals, and help shape the tone of the party together. All characters will start at Level 3, and all stats and features will be determined through the 5E character creation rules as outlined in the player's guide. Stats will be a modified Heroic Stat Line: 17, 15, 14, 12, 10, 8. No outside tools or stat rolling are neededāeverything you need will be built into the system. If there are any restrictions or recommended sources, those will be discussed during Session 0, but in general, please stick to official 5E content. Iām happy to work with players to personalize characters, but all final approvals go through me as the GM to maintain balance and consistency in the story.

What Justin brings to the table
As your Game Master, Iāll guide you through an epic, character-driven journey in a world where your decisions shape the fate of nations, and the shadows of the past rise to challenge the future. My focus is on immersive storytelling, meaningful choices, and a world that evolves in response to your actions. Expect cinematic scenes, dynamic characters, and mysteries that unravel piece by piece as you venture deeper into the unknown. I use character voices, descriptive narration, and ambient music to create a vivid atmosphere at the table. My goal is to draw you into the world and make each moment feel alive. You'll encounter NPCs with depth, motivations, and secrets, and you'll be encouraged to form relationshipsāwhether alliances or rivalriesāthat carry weight. Combat is intense and intentional. While not every session is combat-heavy, when it happens, it's meant to feel dangerous, thrilling, and tactical. I lean into the Rule of Coolāif you describe an awesome, creative action that fits the scene and feels heroic (or tragic), Iāll reward bold ideas over strict mechanics. That said, the Rules as Written provide the foundation for fairness and consistency. I aim for balance: we respect the rules but aren't bound by them when the story demands something greater. Ultimately, I provide a collaborative experience where character growth, narrative arcs, and world impact take center stage. If you're here for unforgettable moments, deep lore, and the freedom to forge your own legend.

How Justin creates a safe table
Creating a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment is a top priority in every game I run. This is a collaborative story, and everyone at the table deserves to feel heard, valued, and secure. To help support this, a Lines and Veils document will be shared before the campaign begins and will remain available at all times during play for easy reference. Players are encouraged to review it and add to it as neededāweāre all here to tell a great story together, and that includes knowing where the boundaries are. During Session 0, weāll go over the tone of the game, character creation expectations, party dynamics, and, most importantly, our shared safety tools. This includes a discussion of Lines (hard limits) and Veils (fade-to-black subjects), themes players want to explore or avoid, and how to support one another both narratively and emotionally throughout the campaign. To support ongoing safety, I use the X, N, and O systemāplayers can use digital signals or send me a private message during or after a session to flag any issues. Whether it's a moment of discomfort, a scene thatās pushing too far, or a need to pause, these tools are always respected, no questions asked. I also make it clear that Iām always available for private check-ins outside of sessions to address concerns, adjust content, or just to talk things through. Aftercare is something I take seriously, especially after emotionally intense scenes. I offer time to debrief, celebrate wins, and decompressāwhether thatās a casual conversation after the session or a check-in before the next game. My goal is to ensure that every player feels comfortable, empowered, and excited to return to the table each time we gather.
