About the adventure

This campaign will be an isekai / portal fantasy (depending on the definitions). You will start in the normal world, and will somehow be transported into a weird world full of mystery and possibilities (think Narnia meets Wizard of Oz meets Alice in wonderland). What will you do? How will you survive? Who is that weird confused person next to you? How will you get back home? Those are all questions that may or may not be answered as you embark on this great journey through fiction. This is a homebrew campaign set in a homebrew setting that has been multiple years in the making.

About me

Welcome fellow adventurers. I am Adam, and with any luck I might be your future DM. I have a love for anything story telling related, from books, films, writing and most prominently running roleplaying games. With over five years of dming under my belt, I feel confident in weaving a good story that includes everyone and gives good story beats in service of the characters. I have multiple years experience as a game designer and in a primary classroom setting, giving me the skills to effectively run a small group in a creative setting while seeing to everyone's needs. A little bit about my style of GMing: My favorite rule in any system is the rule of cool. I realize that everyone at the table is here to have fun, not get bogged down in rules. Therefore if something sounds fun or epic and even remotely possible, you bet that it is happening! I love homebrewing my own settings and homebrew items, so you will see a lot of them. So if you want to give it a go, grab your shiniest dice, and get ready to embark on an unforgettable adventure in weird and whimsical worlds full of epic stories waiting to be told.

What Adam brings to the table

The rule of cool will be the blood in the veins of this campaign. Along with the rule of cool, you can expect to see many homebrew magic items to bring new life and excitement in a bright and ever change world. During the session I will try to have moment appropriate music playing in the background to add a soundtrack to your character's epic moments. I will also incorporate your character's backstory into the world, to make it seem like a proper living world.
