About the adventure
🏯 The Golden Empire appears perfect: jade palaces shimmer under eternal sun, spirit guardians protect the people, and prosperity flows under the Dragonborn Queen's rule. But blood mages are tearing it apart from within. Terrorist attacks. Mysterious disappearances. Whispers of rebellion. And you're starting to wonder: Are the blood mages terrorists? The Golden Empire is an East Asian inspired setting for anyone and everyone who is interested in exploring a non-traditional Eurocentric medieval setting. All are welcome, regardless of background. 💪🏼 Create a character and party that is both powerful enough to face the threats of Blood Mages, titan-sized monsters, and Asian folkloric creatures, whilst having the necessary skills and knowledge to learn about what might be truly going on here. Throw away your illusions of good and evil and create your moral compass from scratch - the land is happy, but what propaganda has perpetuated? If you’re looking for an epic adventure to go on, for something intriguing to unravel, or for scary beasties to eat your character, you’ll find something at my table that is up your alley. You might've seen me stream my Southeast Asian inspired games on Twitch, or if you live in little red dot called Singapore, you might've played in my games in-person! I’ve been running games professionally for over-half a decade now, and have taught hundreds of new players, shared tables with long-time veterans, and of course everyone else in between. 🍚Community Having run games on twitch, I’ve cultivated a community of TTRPG gamers across the globe. All varieties of experiences, backgrounds, and upbringings have come together and cultivate a safe and welcoming space. 🎲Experience I've ran over 20 campaigns to completion, both homebrew and pre-published campaigns. I've taught hundreds of people how to play D&D from running dozens of Learn to Plays. I primarily run online games on a Foundry, with both animated and static maps. Creating your character
We will create characters during the session 0. As a group we will decide on rolling for stats or point-buy. No ban lists. Homebrew allowed but subject to rebalancing as needed. We will develop a character backstory that involves you in the world, and open up the potential for a more sandboxy campaign.
