About the adventure

Keys From The Golden Vault is a heist based anthology series I have developed out to a full campaign spanning levels 1-12. Players can expect in depth character creation and integration into the story no matter if you are new or a 20 year veteran. Creative origins are encouraged! The World Of Eberron, A world of high magic and high technology with an altered life path for all races that find themselves in it. Our story takes place within the continent of Khorvare, which has been at war with itself for the past 100 years, only recently has found itself in a semblance of peace. During this time a mysterious group continues to pull strings in the background, sending their operatives on missions for the greater good of the continent. They are called The Golden Vault and you play one of their operatives. Players can expect arcanepunk hijinks, magic items galore, a ton of gold on the table, and finally a fully customizable home base in the town of Crow Hill. Steal, deal, and heist your way to the top!! Players get their first session free as well as access to resources through DND Beyond.

About me

I'm Andrew also known as DarklyTheBear. I've been a player/dm for the past 5 years and recently wanted to bring my talents to the good people of startplaying, that's you! As a dm I emphasize rule of cool and deep involvement with player creation and background, involving each player deeply in whichever world they currently inhabit. I strive to make every world feel lived in by creating detailed logs and backgrounds for practically everything in the game, personalized for each groups needs. I also strive to house an open and safe space for all, from the veterans to the noobs. Let's get rollin!

What DarklyTheBear brings to the table

I bring maps and tokens curtesy of Owlbear.rodeo as well as a music bot to add ambiance to the story. I also bring assets via DndBeyond allowing players expanded options that can be collaborated between players. I also run by rule of cool, meaning anything and everything can be on the table as long as its cool enough. The rules are just a guideline to do cool things. Players can expect interesting npcs bringing unique voices and backgrounds to bring the world to life.
