About me
I have been GMing for over 10 years. Fantasy tends to be my go too but I do enjoy horror. I love world building and capturing that feeling that the world is alive. I like realism in my games but don’t let it get in the way of having fun. And I recognize that A good laugh at a table can make a game all the more memorable. I try to not tell my players no, within reason, when it comes to things they want to do. Because this is a fantastical fun setting and I want to encourage creative and unique ways to solve / resolve conflicts. However I try to remind my players that there are always consequences for their actions both good and bad. I find that that helps keep the world feeling alive. And in some cases keep the players from getting to out of pocket. This is a cooperative story telling game played input and action helps make the game more interesting and fun.

Creating your character
We will be making characters on our first session. Using the new 2024 rules, and the new forgotten realms source books. In addition to any other official source books. Characters will be starting at first level.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a d&d beyond account for character creation and a discord account as that is where we will be holding our call sessions.
What Kona kuma brings to the table
I like to use voices when dming to help set the tone and differentiate between characters. I like to stick to the rules but will bend them for game play and story purposes. I like to have ambient music playing in the background as to help with setting scenes and also cut down on awkward silence.
Homebrew rules
Some home brew rules I like to use are fire doing less damage underwater. And electricity doing double damage when the target is in water possibly harming the caster if they too are in the water.
