About me
👋 Hello! I’m Zachary, a storyteller, game designer, and programmer with nearly a decade of experience running narrative-driven tabletop RPGs. My greatest passion lies in games that blur the line between humanity and the supernatural. These are stories where emotion, choice, and consequence carry as much weight as dice rolls. I specialize in the Chronicles of Darkness and other d10 dice pool systems, using platforms like Foundry VTT and Discord 🎭 At my table, my player's story drives the world. Your chanter's backstory, choices, and ambition matter. In my game's expect cinematic roleplay, emotional stakes, and collaborative storytelling where rules serve the story we weave, not the other way around. Beyond the table, I create under the name SpiritualSalt

Creating your character
FYI, character creation for our table will happen together during our Session 0. For our Session 0, you won't need a finished concept, but instead a simple and cool idea that you may want to design a character around We’ll be using Promethean: the Created 2e, alongside two supplemental books (Chronicles of Darkness and Hurt Locker) for character creation. If you don't have access to these books, don't sweat it! They will be included in our game resources for group convenience
What to expect
Preparing for the session
To get ready for the game: Join the Discord. This will be our hub for scheduling, updates, and handouts. We'll also use Discord for voice chat Review the Resources. You can do this by skimming through the Promethean, Chronicles of Darkness, and Hurt Locker which will be provided on my server Bring a Concept. A concept is just a few words about who they are right now and who they dream of becoming
What Zachary || SpiritualSalt brings to the table
As your Storyteller, I focus on creating an immersive, character-driven horror experience where every choice matters. Please, expect a theater-of-the-mind style of storytelling at my table Additionally, I’ll be sure to guide new players through the system, communicate clearly, and keep the table atmosphere supportive and engaging. My goal is simple: to make sure everyone has fun, fear, and unforgettable moments in this adventure I'd also like to inform you that funds received from players will be put back into the game, to further enhance the quality of play. For starters, I will commission my artist, Morai C, to create images of player characters and important npcs (the thumbnail at the top of the listing is an example of Morai's work)
