About the adventure
A level 7 one-shot set in a Darkest Dungeon like setting. Adventurers and mercenaries come from all over to the Firstlight hamlet to find fame, fortune, or to crush the evil within. Don't let your overconfidents take over, this setting is gritty but gore is brushed aside to keep things rolling. Be ready for a fight and a few odd traps along the way.

About me
I have played table top games most of my life and have enjoyed putting new rules to classics, a habit I still have. I started TTRPG's in high school playing D&D 5e and have broadened my horizons with a number of other games.

Creating your character
As this is a one-shot, I will be hard on a few rules but overall it will be in the players hands. The session will be at level 7 using the new 2024 rules for main classes and released subclasses, with not yet rereleased 2014 subclasses being used as well.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Once you are signed up, I will send you a link to a discord channel and feel free to talk with other players and get look at what the channel has. Then once you have your character, send it to the channel for character sheets.
What Sean P.B. brings to the table
We will start with some RP between players is get a feel for the characters and then "go on the hunt" with some streamlined encounters leading to a final boss. A simple one-shot.
Homebrew rules
Drinking a potion is a bonus action. A character may have a short term madness effect, nothing truly crazy but things like "You feel like you are being watched" or "You feel calmer then you think you should" sort of stuff. I'll try not to go overboard, please tell me if I am.
