About the adventure

The far north lands of Icewind Dale were always cold and unwelcoming even before it was trapped in the Everlasting Rime. But now the denizens of the ten-towns are cut-off from the rest of the world as blizzards have blocked the mountain passes and the nearly frozen sea is unnavigable. And you are trapped with them!! You will battle frightening monsters, discover lost magic and defy a goddess as you explore the Ten-Towns and region beyond. Can you uncover the secrets buried under a mountain of ice and snow before it freezes your heart? ---------- ABOUT THE GAME ---------- Weekly 3-hour sessions hosted on Roll20. Audio on Discord. Original D&D 5e rules (2014). Experienced or new players welcome. Campaign will take characters from Level 1 to Level 12.

About me

Hello, my name is Brian. I have been playing/game mastering Dungeons and Dragons for over 35 years. From the AD&D to 5e I have played and ran them all. I currently host a weekly live game at my house. I am a father of two boys, which I play D&D with often. I enjoy making custom monsters, magical items and feats to make my games unique and the players characters one of a kind.

What Brian brings to the table

I have a Roll20 plus version with many of the books and adventures need to properly run a game. I will use music to enhance the game play mood. Artful landing pages will be used for the locations to increase the immersion.

Homebrew rules

Homebrew Rules below help make combat fast and more dynamic. ***** Defensive Disengage ***** any character can disengage from combat for a bonus action. During this action the character cannot move toward or around a hostile creature and they move at half speed. ***** Critical Hits **** On a Critical hit the first weapon damage roll is always maximized. Example: A fighter has a 16 Strength critically hits with a long sword (1d8 damage one handed). The damage would be 8 + 1d8 + modifiers. ***** Use Potion ***** a potion can be used on yourself with a bonus action. To use on another character, it takes an action.
