About the adventure

Called to a classified mission, you sit in the back room of a post office in downtown Seattle while your handler briefs you on a former agent named Clyde Baughman. He once served with Delta Green, the agency you all work for in secret. He is dead from a massive heart attack. Your team must search his apartment for anything that could lead back to the program. It sounds like a simple cleanup job, but some secrets never stay buried. If you do not find everything or you mishandle what you uncover, the consequences will follow you home. Last Things Last is a short and beginner friendly Delta Green scenario, ideal for players new to the setting. You will sift through clues, make quick decisions, confront and try to contain the unnatural. No prior experience with Delta Green is required. I will teach the rules as we play and offer six pre made agents to choose from.

About me

My games are cinematic and grounded, with deliberate pacing, tense atmosphere, and close attention to human detail. Roleplay is central, social encounters matter as much as combat, and choices leave visible marks on the world. Beginners will find a welcoming table, while experienced players will find depth and consequence. This approach grows from my work as a documentary filmmaker and visual anthropologist in Germany, where story, framing, and listening guide every project. I have been playing since my teens across AD&D, Call of Cthulhu, World of Darkness, and many indie systems, and I have been GMing actively since 2020. I am drawn to darker, psychological adventures and to the fragile hope that lives within them. I have guided both new players and veteran groups through full campaigns. In addition to Dungeons & Dragons 5e, I also run Shadowdark RPG, Ultraviolet Grasslands, Call of Cthulhu and Delta Green. However I love learning new systems and settings and I am currently reading Vampire The Masquerade with a plan to run it soon.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need: • Free accounts on The Forge, Discord • A current browser (Chrome or Edge recommended - Firefox causes issues with FoundryVTT audio) • Laptop or desktop PC with stable internet • (Good) Microphone and Headphones • Webcam use is encouraged but not a must If you want, you can get familiar with the rules for Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition. But it's really not expected and they are really easo to pick up.

What Sam brings to the table

I curate handouts and artwork to create a strong sense of place and mood. Soundscapes, ambient music, and visual backdrops help make the world feel alive and tangible. We will talk about table etiquette before the session so everyone knows what to expect and feels comfortable contributing. The tone stays focused, cinematic, and cooperative, giving everyone room to speak, act, and enjoy the story together. I use rules as written for clarity and make quick rulings when it keeps the scene moving. I perform character voices and accents and differentiate NPCs through tone, cadence, and word choice so they feel distinct and memorable.
