About the adventure
Welcome to a cinematic survival story set in the haunting universe of the ALIEN RPG. This game is designed for players new to the system, offering a guided, story-driven experience that balances dramatic tension with moments of levity and connection. Whether you're a seasoned roleplayer or stepping into your first tabletop horror session, you'll find the rules easy to learn and the atmosphere unforgettable. In this scenario, you’ll play as ordinary people caught in extraordinary circumstances. The setting is gritty, industrial, and isolated—where every flickering light and distant echo could mean danger. The theme is survival under pressure, but the heart of the game lies in how your characters respond: through teamwork, sacrifice, and the bonds they forge in the face of the unknown. Expect suspense, moral choices, and a creeping sense of dread that builds with every scene. Gameplay moves swiftly when the plot demands it, but there’s always space to breathe, reflect, and explore your character’s relationships. Whether you're cracking a joke to ease the tension or making a desperate last stand, the focus is always on player enjoyment and collaborative storytelling. This is a game where your choices matter, your character arcs shine, and the experience lingers long after the final roll. If you’re ready to dive into a world of cinematic horror, emotional stakes, and unforgettable moments—this is the perfect place to begin.

About me
Hello :-) I have been running games for years now. In person, online, at events with a speciality for threat, thrills and mystery. I have recently spent a lot of my time running Alien; Dragonbane; Cyberpunk Red as well as The Walking Dead Universe. I promote a friendly table where everyone has a chance to take part in sessions, where we can separate in game characters from IRL people, and where story and RP win over rules at appropriate times. If that sounds like a GM you'd like to game with please get in touch! Some recent player reviews are below :-) 1 I had a great time with the game as well as playing with new players & a new GM. He was very patient as we are all noobs with the system & I'm trying to get multiple game sessions in to learn the system to run it myself. This game session provided more depth than the previous cinematic I've played. The GM also didn't go overboard when having multiple NPC's interact with each other; that can be a cumbersome mechanic to manage. All in all, I would happily play with this GM and the other player if the opportunity presented itself. 2 I played the company man Wilson and I have to say that I had a blast playing him! The intrigue and hidden agendas made for such an immersive experience! I love mystery horror sci-fi so Alien RPG is perfect! I love that the characters all have a different agenda and motivation to strive for. Really promotes involvement in the game and I believe it helps with the overall pace of the game as well! 3 It was suspenseful and induced paranoia for each of the crew had to work together but have a personal agenda that could potentially conflict with others, and thus creating a fitting and dramatic ending.

What GMRUNSGAME brings to the table
I will voice NPC's, provide ambient music where appropriate and always favour the rule of cool. There will be times due to the nature of the game where your choices will become limited, or time may become precious. It is possible ass you would expect in this universe that your character may die. If they die before the last hour of the one shot another character will be provided where possible. If they die in the last hour you may enjoy the game as a team mate, but take no further active part in the story.
Homebrew rules
Nobody will die in the first hour to give everyone a chance to get to grips with the system and characters.
