About the adventure
This is an instructional campaign where there are segments made for the education of the game. In the Sablewood, the forest cares not for what you think is possible or right. It only cares for life. Animals appear with amalgams of contrasting features, a fox may also be a bat or an alligator also an eel, and the strangely formed trees loom ominously over wary adventurers. Travel through the Sablewood away from the safety of your kingdom at the order of King Emerys as the mysterious delivery of an artifact drags behind your group, weighing upon your quest to bring the quarry to the eccentric Whitefire Arcanist in the town of Hush. She will know what to do.

About me
Hello hello, I'm Lilian, just Lian is fine, and ever since I started playing tabletop roleplaying games in the derelict halls of junior high, I have been thoroughly engrossed in the medium. Though that was 7 years ago now and I have gone on to do other projects in the field. For example, my experience comes mostly from being a professional Game Master running TTRPG Clubs for local Libraries. I have had that amazing job for three years and have met all manner of person interested in rolling some dice. I work hard to foster a table that anyone will feel welcome at and am inspired by systems such as Dungeons & Dragons, Lancer, Kids on Bikes/Brooms, Coriolis, and Daggerheart.

Creating your character
There will be premade characters available through Demiplane specifically made for the adventure. The starting level is 1 and we will only be referring to the Core Rulebook, not the Playtest material.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please make free accounts on Demiplane and Discord. Demiplane can be on your web browser but if you do not have Discord, you will need to download it. Owlbear Rodeo can be played without an account on your end, I only need to send you to a join link to enter the virtual tabletop.
What Polterdice brings to the table
I will provide experience from my 3 years as a professional Dungeon Master in libraries and conventions, a Rule of Cool style of play that prioritizes cinematic action by players, and a friendly atmosphere where people can learn the game comfortably curated by my academic knowledge of education.
