About the adventure
You are on vacation in the lovely little resort town of Vestalanium during the height of the power of the Roman Empire. This rest has been a long time coming, you deserve it. Have a bath, a massage, take dinner on the river. A great presence presses up against the walls of your peaceful reality. This ends in bloodshed. Roughly one thousand years later the Normans invade Britain. Your new French lordship tasks you with settling a complaint levied against the good Lord Boniface by the local peasantry. Best hurry, wouldn't want to miss the grand feast in the new mead hall. As a frigid wind blows something pushes through the seams, extending itself into this cold world. This ends in screams and laughter. Roughly one thousand years later, a carnival sets up in Western Massachusetts. Your band has a big show tomorrow night, but right now just take a load off, you've got nothing to worry about. Explore, have fun, see the sights, smell the smells. You feel a terrible sense of déjà vu. Something is coming. Bit by bit you are remembering. Soon. Holes ripped into the face of the earth. Eyes stare out. The Herald sounds its trumpet. Please be seated, the play is about to begin. Over the course of this campaign you will play as a different character in each scenario, as you reincarnate into new bodies across time to fight the same Mythos Entity as it desperately tries to break into earth.

About me
Hi, I'm Lyra, a 20 year old trans woman, running TTRPGs almost constantly since the 8th grade. I love horror media, from movies and TV to books, podcasts, and games. I frequently draw inspiration from these when planning TTRPG sessions. Some of my earliest memories are of telling stories to my peers, whether to entertain or just for personal enjoyment. My short story "My fingers still search for her" was published in Plenitude Magazine in 2025 and can be read here: https://plenitudemagazine.ca/my-fingers-still-search-for-her.

Creating your character
Players will receive a list of pre-gens prior to each session alongside short descriptions of who they are. First come first serve in divvying up who gets which character. Full sheets will then be sent out privately.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will receive a link to a Discord server privately which I ask that you join. This will require having or creating an account. The game will be hosted through a call in this server, a microphone is mandatory, however camera is optional. Before each session make sure you have selected, received, and read over your character sheet for the scenario.
What Lyra brings to the table
As your GM my first priority is your immersion within the story. To this end I employ a full playlist filled with music and ambient sounds to immerse you in the game and in the time period. I also perform a variety of voices for the wide cast of NPCs featured throughout these scenarios.

How Lyra creates a safe table
A short Session 0 prior to the beginning of the campaign will be held to further discuss player expectation and safety. We will use this time to go over Lines and Veils. During the session players may use X, N, and O cards at any time. These tools are explained in detail below. You may also take a break at any time, just let me know and if you would prefer we pause the game or continue and just work around the absence of your character. There should be no shame or fear about halting game flow to use these tools. Your safety is more important than the story. After the session I intend to stay on call to discuss and chat about events in the session in a calm and lighthearted environment.
