About the adventure
"As you know, in the 21st century, when a property is abandoned long enough, it transforms into a deadly dungeon full of traps and monsters. Naturally, this is terrible for property value. So, what is a poor homeowner to do in this scenario? Well, you should hire the De-Dungeonizers, of course!. We kill all of the nasty monsters, disarm those troublesome traps, and kick out any squatting necromancer. For the low-low price of 15,000 gold pieces!" -Juda Confidence, Founder of the De-Dungeonizers. The De-Dungeonizers is a Dungeons and Dragons 5.5e One-shot, where the players are tasked to clear out a deadly dungeon armed with chainsaws, holy water, and whatever else they need to kill the monsters that turned this abandoned property into their lair.

Creating your character
Pre-made characters will be provided at the start of the session. However, if anyone wishes to create a character, they can do so using the 2024 character creation rules with the standard array. Here is a brief list of the premade dnd characters at your disposal: Sophia Evenfel: Human Life Domain Cleric with Anxiety and Student Debt. Isac Orcson: Orc Berserker Barbarian with a Doctorate and a Lisp. Gloria Crestfallen: High Elf Champion Fighter with a Drinking Problem and a Chainsaw. (because that's never a poor combination) Sabastian Feyfoot: Sayter Archfey Bladelock with an illegally modified sniper rifle... (The police have confiscated it about seven times now).

This game theater of the mind, the one-shot was written with a modular system allowing me to seamlessly change encounters or the one-shot's ending to suit the party's taste and pace!
Homebrew rules
Some monsters use a special type of action called a telegraphed action. A monster can initiate a telegraphed action at the end of its turn(no action required), which will then activate at the start of its next turn. This keeps battles dynamic and engaging!
