About the adventure
-NEW PLAYERS WELCOME!- Have you ever wanted to play a game of the X-Files, or True Detective? Delta Green is a game of cosmic horror and conspiracy using a d100 system. You play as agents of a secret, probably government, conspiracy sent to cover up evidence of the Unnatural (the Cthulhu Mythos), and stop it from destroying people and, eventually, the world. In Viscid, your agents are sent to Seattle, Washington to investigate the sudden, violent death of a geneticist who's corpse has seemingly infected the neighborhood. You're tasked with containing and covering everything up, or die trying...

About me
Hi there! I'm primarily a horror and mystery focused GM, although I do love some cyberpunk! I tend to run RP and character focused, atmospheric games with an interest in letting you take control of the story and guide your character through whatever scenario I've prepared. I love creative players, and believe in bending the rules when it results in more exciting or satisfying storytelling, the dice can't do all the work, after all. I have been GMing for over 3 years now, including at several online horror TTRPG conventions like the Illusion Horror Con and A Weekend With the Good Friends of Jackson Elias. I would love to run for you!

Creating your character
The character creation rules are in the core book. This game is geared a bit more towards beginners so you will be creating new agents, no experience packages. Attributes will be decided through the point buy method, so you have 72 points to distribute. Characters will either be created before it starts asynchronously through me assisting through text or we can do it during the first session.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
I will be using Roll20 for character sheets and die rolls, although if someone really wants to use physical dice that's fine. We'll use the Roll20 voice chat, although if that decides not to work we can use Discord as a back up.
What Perry brings to the table
I do character voices, and provide background music. I usually use watch2tether for music. I tend to stick to the rules, with slight Rule of Cool if I think it's more narratively interesting. This will be an investigation heavy game, with combat towards the end, although how much will be decided by player action. The combat in Delta Green is fairly deadly.

How Perry creates a safe table
I will send over my Lines and Veils document, and during Session 0 we will discuss it, and see if anything needs clarifying. We will also talk about the tone and themes of the game, and topics that are likely to come up. My X,N, and O cards are messaged, unless the players have a strong preference otherwise.
