About the adventure
This is a great module to run for any level of experience player from beginner to expert. An intricate mix of roleplay, combat, and problem solving will lead to a unique experience in gameplay. This takes dungeon delving to a whole other level as there are many dynamics to work through. With a very open theme of simple dungeon delving, there is more to this campaign than just dragging from one combat to the next. There are parties in play that may affect your decision as a player on how to grow and develop your character. There are evolving parts to this as you delve deeper into the dungeon allowing for a variety of outcomes. How will you shape your future in the Dungeon of the Mad Mage?

About me
I have played Dungeons and Dragons since I was a child. It was something I grew up with. Over the years I have played in both private games in-person and over discord as both a Dungeon Master and player. While I have experience in running modules I have become attached to creating my own worlds and personalized storylines. At this point I have almost 30 years of play under my belt with about 12 years of that being a DM. I have worked with other DM's worldwide to develop my talents in providing an immersive experience and story writing. My latest ventures have been in westmarch style play but I am trying to transition back to running more formal style, personal games.

Creating your character
You should be creating your character with a reason to come to the famous bar known as The Yawning Portal. This is where the entrance to the dungeon lies and is open to all who want to challenge its depths. There will be a free session 0 where character discussion and creation will be done so if there are any questions they can either be fielded to me after joining or
What to expect
Preparing for the session
This will be played through Discord and using the DNDBeyond system. Books will be shared for those who join so all you need to do is make sure to have a Discord account for communication and a free DNDBeyond account.
What DM - Stile brings to the table
Ambient music will be played over VC to help set the mood for the various portions of the dungeon. Combat will be done accordingly to intelligence scores and tactically utilized where appropriate. A challenging environment across several themes will be implemented. While there are instances where RAW will win over due to simplicity of a situation, I am very much a fan of the Rule of Cool. I enjoy setting a great scene as much as the next person and allowing players to experience that is always exciting.
