About the adventure
The nation of Lastwall has fallen, and, with it, humanity's last defense against the undead armies of the Whispering Tyrant. This adventure takes place in the ruins of that heroic realm. Your group represents what little hope remains to the people of Lastwall. The events of this adventure tie in to the greater themes of the "War of Immortals" that is changing the face of Golarion, as the future of two goddesses is about to be decided. If you enjoy high fantasy adventuring, noble crusader archetypes, or computer RPGs like "Wrath of the Righteous" and the "Diablo" series, this might be the right adventure for you. This is a short-term mini-campaign, that begins at 1st level. The setting makes it an ideal opportunity to try out some unique character options from the "Lastwall" source book, as well as the "Book of the Dead". Players new to Pathfinder 2nd Edition should find it a good introduction both to the system and to the world of Golarion. Please get in touch if you have any questions.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Greetings, adventurers. My name is George, and I have been immersing myself in TTRPGs since around 2001. My journey into the realm of Game Mastering took a serious turn with the release of Pathfinder. My background in theatre, history, and education has been instrumental in shaping my GM style, which emphasizes dramatic conflict, challenging decisions, and character development. I’ve had the pleasure of engaging with a diverse and international player population, both online and in person. This experience has enriched my understanding of the game and its global appeal. The games I run are primarily drawn from official Paizo publications for Pathfinder, supplemented by key resources from publishers like Kobold Press and Sly Flourish. In each campaign, I make it a point to engage with the player characters’ backgrounds. This begins with a session zero where we collaboratively create characters that align with the theme of the campaign. Each campaign I run is a unique world unto itself. I strive to create a distinctive and consistent atmosphere for each one, whether it’s the dark and grim tone of a horror campaign or the epic battles of a high fantasy adventure. Some campaigns may include unique mechanics tailored to their theme. My games, even when played remotely online, aim to emulate the feel of a traditional tabletop experience as much as possible. I prefer to keep technology from overwhelming the gameplay, allowing us to focus on the human elements of the game - the people around our virtual table. I am always available to answer questions through this site. If you have any doubts before signing up for a session, please contact me. I am always eager to hear from established parties who are looking for a new GM. Whether you have already been gaming together, or you are a group of friends, coworkers, or a family group, I would love to embark on an adventure with you. I am also open to requests from existing/ongoing groups for a specific campaign for your party. Whether you have a published module in mind or just an idea that you’d like to develop, I’m here to help you play the game you want to play! Remember, the essence of tabletop gaming is to have fun and create memorable stories together. Let’s roll the dice!

Creating your character
The adventure begins at 1st level, and is ideal for new players. Players can choose to use Pathbuilder or create their character right on Foundry, but either way all material required for play is available for free - see the links below. This is the perfect campaign to look into character options from the "Lastwall" supplement, as the player characters are all survivors from that much-suffering nation. For a complete and searchable database of Pathfinder 2nd Edition character options that is always updated, check out: https://2e.aonprd.com/ For a free and comprehensive character builder, you can use: https://pathbuilder2e.com/app.html Pathbuilder character sheets can be easily imported to Foundry Virtual Table Top. Our virtual table top will be hosted on Forge, meaning you will have access to your character sheet between sessions.
Brand new party forming for the adventure.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a headset or good quality microphone to make sure there is no feedback or interference during play. A webcam is recommended but not required. However, players do find that using video tends to improve the experience for everyone involved. Since this is a 1st level adventure, we will create characters together during our first session together. Bring your ideas but leave final decisions for the table.
What George brings to the table
All material required for play (character sheets, dice, maps, visual aids, and more) will be provided electronically through the Foundry Virtual Table Top. This is a survival-horror themed adventure, taking place in the ruins of the nation of Lastwall. The tone is definitely more sombre and urgent than other 1st level adventures. Building relationships with other survivors, and finding ways to maximise the use of your limited resources, are key parts of enjoying the unique aspects of the campaign.
Homebrew rules
We will not be using any special optional rules in this adventure, but players are strongly encouraged to explore player options from the "Last Wall" source book.

How George creates a safe table
During our first session together, we will talk through the themes of the campaign, and set our own limits on the content we would like to see included in our campaign using a tool called Lines and Veils. All players have the right to feel safe and respected at the table. Any language or behaviour that makes others feel unwelcome or uncomfortable will not be tolerated. Digital safety tools will be available during the game, and we will create a list of our own Lines and Veils during our first session together.
