About the adventure
In the neon-soaked streets of Los Angeles 2037, you are not the hunter. You are the hunted. You are a member of the Replicant Underground, a decentralized network of rebels dismantling the oppressive machine one cog at a time. As members of an independent cell operating under your handler’s distant guidance, you’ll walk the razor’s edge between revolution and survival. In this neon-noir city of dazzling lights and moral contradictions, Replicant Rebellion flips the famous Blade Runner script. Now you’re running from Blade Runners in an evocative cat-and-mouse race of provocateurs and powderkegs, where every Operation risks exposure. Help fugitive Nexus-8 Replicants escape Blade Runner pursuit. Infiltrate corporate installations, expose government corruption, and sabotage the titans of the Replicant trade. Clash with rival Underground cells whose methods threaten to ignite a civil war. Grapple with the cops, courts, and megacorps while keeping your record clean and the Heat low. Maintain your cover story while conspiring, reconnoiterering, and striking at the heart of the corrupt system. Creating your character
The character creation & crew establishment phases will take place during in Session 0. Players will craft the protagonists of the story, the Rebels, uniquely poised survive the gritty and dystopian world of neon-noir Los Angeles. Players will define their Rebels' backgrounds and cover stories, choosing between different Archetypes specifically designed for running Operations, each with distinct skills and affiliations. The system encourages players to delve into their characters' motivations, relationships, and personal history, providing a rich tapestry against the backdrop of the oppressive yet captivating future. Choices regarding personal philosophies contribute to the character's identity and effectiveness in the unforgiving urban futuristic landscape. The nature of Session 0 ensures that characters are not only finely tuned for the challenges ahead, but also woven into the intricate narrative fabric of a world where the line between human and machine blurs.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
You must have a Discord account. If you don't have one, you can create it for free on the Discord website. Invitation link to my Discord server: https://tinyurl.com/gmkirdan Please, join my Playground and choose the Role: "Replicant". This is primary point of contact for any questions or concerns. Voice is required and video highly recommended. Please, ensure you have a decent mic (and webcam, if applicable), stable Internet connection, and that you're able to play in an area with minimal background noise and distractions. After joining the game, players will be provided with the link to download some prep materials, i.e. information on Blade Runner universe and game mechanics.
What Kirdan brings to the table
Unlike traditional Blade Runner games where you hunt illegal Replicants, here you are the hunted. You play as members of the Replicant Underground working against the system. You will experience unique rules for maintaining Covers, managing Heat levels as law enforcement closes in, and earning Rebel Points for your cause. The campaign includes multiple complete Operations designed specifically for Replicant Underground crews, featuring helping fugitive Replicants evade capture; sabotaging Replicant industry; navigating conflicts with cops, courts, and megacorps; dealing with warring crews and syndicates; rooting out moles in your midst. While Operations are complete adventures, they connect into a larger story about the Replicant Underground’s struggle in Los Angeles 2037. Your actions will have consequences. High-profile operations increase Heat, requiring you to rebuild your Cover to avoid detection, capture and detention (or retirement). You’ll thrive at my table if you: • want to immerse in sci-fi worlds and make difficult choices that impact the story • enjoy cooperating to unveil mysteries through investigation and roleplay • appreciate political intrigue and moral complexity • have creative ideas that inspire improvisation • stay focused during sessions Players who expect constant combat or aren’t interested in narrative depth may find this isn’t their style.

How Kirdan creates a safe table
This game deals with mature themes including violence, corporate oppression, and questions of humanity and identity. The game can be violent and distressing, raising issues relating to personal morals. That’s why it’s recommended for mature players. But the people playing are more important than the game. During Session 0 we will discuss all the no-go zones for topics, setting the boundaries to the table. We will discuss expectations, tone, and themes of the game in relation to personal triggers and establish group norms, to ensure everyone is comfortable with the content of the campaign. Open door policy is self-explanatory: you can leave anytime, without judgement. After each game session we will have debriefing. Periodically, I will check in with the group during gameplay to ensure everyone is still comfortable with the direction of the story. I will encourage open communication and provide a platform for all the players to express their concerns.
