About the adventure
The King is dead. In the wake of his fall, darkness creeps across the borderlands. Ancient evils long forgotten, ambitious warlords eyeing the throne, and whispers of something far worse lurking in the shadows. Into this chaos, a call goes out for heroes. Not the legendary champions of old, but ordinary souls willing to rise and face the storm. You answer that call. Welcome to a world inspired by the greatest tales of Arthurian legend, where noble knights gather around the Round Table to forge a new order from the ashes of the old. But this is not the Britain of history—this is a fantasy realm where honor and treachery walk hand in hand, where a quest for a holy relic might save the kingdom or doom it, and where your choices carry the weight of destiny itself. What to Expect This campaign blends classic D&D 5e adventure with the rich themes of Arthurian romance: chivalric codes tested by impossible choices, quests that blur the line between glory and folly, courtly intrigue where words cut as deep as swords, and the ever-present question of what it truly means to be a hero. Expect political maneuvering alongside dragon slaying, moral dilemmas that have no easy answers, and a world that reacts dynamically to your decisions. My GMing Style I run collaborative, story-driven games where player agency matters. Your backstories, goals, and choices will shape the narrative alongside the overarching plot. Strong proponent of "yes, and..." improvisation, dramatic moments that let characters shine, and consequences that make victories feel earned. Whether you're a tactical combat enthusiast, a roleplay devotee, or somewhere in between, there's a seat for you at this table.

About me
I have been GM-ing since getting out of high school for in person and online groups. I started with DND 5e and run most of my games in that system with some breaks for other systems. Have recently been learning Pathfinder 2e and leaning into that system a bit more in my sessions. I've got three home groups and primarily ran homebrew modules in a 'Westmarches style' where all the groups actions can affect the others.

What Mick Wiertel brings to the table
My players can expect playlists and music to back locations they visit, unique encounters with mechanics that are learned during the fight, and engaging roleplay as I put myself right into every NPCs shoes. I am a large proponent of the Rule of Cool. I am here to tell a story with you and provide every player the opportunity for their character to shine. I balance my combat encounters around the players at where they are at in the story.
