About the adventure
“I used to think heroes had it easy—fly in, save the day, smile for the cameras. Then Omni-Man vanished, and the world fell apart. Now the city’s burning, Cecil’s on the line, and I guess it’s my turn to clean up what’s left.” Omni-Man’s gone, and the city’s cracking under the weight of what he left behind. When chaos erupts, the Global Defense Agency calls on a new generation of superheroes to rise. Whether you’re a seasoned crime-fighter or a rookie in your first real mission, this is your chance to prove you have what it takes to stand tall when everything falls apart. Invincible: Superhero Roleplaying captures the pulse-pounding drama of the hit comic and series—high-velocity fights, moral dilemmas, and emotional fallout in a world that’s equal parts awe-inspiring and brutal. Every action scene feels like a page torn from a comic: bold moves, collateral damage, and impossible choices that define what kind of hero you really are. This Learn-to-Play one-shot drops you straight into the aftermath of Omni-Man’s rampage. You’ll take on the role of one of Earth’s new defenders—Atom Eve, Robot, Rex Splode, Monster Girl, Bulletproof, or Invincible himself—and uncover what happens when super-science, crime, and chaos collide. Pre-generated heroes, simple rules, and guided play make it perfect for newcomers and fans eager to step into the Invincible universe. No experience required—just bring your imagination and your inner hero. Together, you’ll fight, banter, and break things in the name of saving a world that desperately needs you. ⚡ System Overview Invincible: Superhero Roleplaying uses a fast, cinematic d6 system from Free League Publishing. You roll a number of dice equal to your Attribute or Power—6s mean success, 1s bring stress and complications. Push your roll for a second chance, but risk breaking under pressure. Between explosive action scenes, you’ll recharge your resolve through quiet, personal moments—because even heroes need time to breathe. It’s dynamic, story-driven, and built to feel like you’re living a full issue of the Invincible comic—complete with quips, drama, and devastating punches.

About me
Greetings and Salutations! Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. SOCIAL LINKS : https://bio.link/fatherj I am FatherJ from the Northeast United States. I really enjoy RPGs from Free League Publishing and the Year Zero Engine. I would love to run one of their games for you! Eastern Time Zone EST: UTC−05:00 standard [ EDT: UTC−04:00 daylight savings] I have been playing many different Table Top Role-Playing Games (TTRPGs) for 15 years, 13 years as GM. I have run hundreds of sessions in over a dozen different science fiction and fantasy RPG systems for an equally wide variety of people in person, at gaming clubs, at gaming stores and online. I have been running online games since 2023. I have 5 children and 4 cats. My day job is in the Information Technology field. My main goal is to have fun games where my players can feel comfortable and become invested in. Nothing makes me feel happier in RPGs than listening to my players enthusiastically recount the tales we have created together. My focus is to share my love for Free League games (Year Zero Engine) by providing people the opportunity to play these wonderful games online. Real life situations had caused a gap in my gaming, but I was inspired by running into Free League Publishing games to get back into TTRPGs two years ago. I have come to StartPlaying looking to run some serious and/or seriously fun sessions. I want to see what I can add to this community! My story telling style is light and flows easy. I do not let the mechanics detract from the experience, but use them to enhance the story you want to be told! I love GMing online. The amount of tools available to online play really enhance the game, in my opinion. I know Foundry VTT pretty well, and I would be more than happy to help teach new and seasoned players alike how good online play can be. Beginner and LGBT+ Friendly. I have taught new systems to new players. I enjoy the experience. We were all new players, or new to a system, at one time.
