About the adventure
Want to learn how to play Delta Green? Join us for a playthrough of "Last Things Last," an introductory scenario featured in Delta Green's "Need to Know" quickstart rulebook. Vince, a Handler with over eight years of experience running Delta Green, will walk you through character creation and an overview of the rules before diving into the scenario itself. In "Last Things Last," players will take on the role of agents working for a clandestine government program known as Delta Green. Four days ago, a former Delta Green agent named Clyde Baughman died of a massive heart attack in his apartment. Your mission is simple: sweep his apartment, remove any evidence of Delta Green's existence, and cover up Baughman's involvement with the program. Should be simple...right?

About me
Vince has been roleplaying on and off for over twenty years, having begun his tabletop journey with Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition in 2000. It wasn’t long before he discovered Chaosium’s Call of Cthulhu and original World of Darkness titles like Vampire, Werewolf, and Changeling. After a lengthy hiatus, Vince dove back into roleplaying in 2017 with the help of virtual tabletops, D&D 5th Edition, and Delta Green. Since then, he’s dabbled in actual play podcast production, streaming, writing, and game design. Vince has run Delta Green: A Night at the Opera and Impossible Landscapes on Black Project Gaming. He is also a frequent guest of Mayday Roleplay, where he is currently releasing Black Project's playthrough of Delta Green: God's Teeth.

What Vince brings to the table
Players can expect dark, gritty, and authentic gameplay. The Handler includes ambient music via Discord bot. As the intent is to learn the Delta Green system and setting, games will largely be run "rules as written." Players can anticipate walking away with an understanding of Delta Green, both as a system and a setting, with the ability to hit the ground running in future games or even run games themselves. The Handler will provide access to Delta Green's Need to Know starter rulebook via Roll20.

How Vince creates a safe table
Players will be sent, and required to complete, the Digital RPG Consent Checklist before play starts. The results of the checklist will be used to build a Lines and Veils document, which will then be shared with all players. In Session 0, players and the Handler will discuss the overall tone and content of the game, including any and all pertinent content warnings. During gameplay, Evil Hat Productions' RPG Safety Tools will be incorporated into the Roll20 game. Players will be able to draw and deal X, Rewind, Pause, Fast Forward, Instant Replay, Frame by Frame, and Resume cards as needed. Additionally, players will be able to message the Handler directly should they need to pause or stop gameplay. A debriefing will be held after each session to discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly of the preceding gameplay. Aftercare will be a key component of the debriefing.
