About the adventure
Whether you are on the run from a Company job gone bad, a salvage worker looking for the next big claim, a curious academic or scientist wanting to delve into ancient ruins, or just a weary spacefarer looking for freedom even in an outlaw frontier, the desert moon of Karth has it all. Yeah, there's talk of there being money in finding ancient artifacts, and there's rumors of a drug called Coral Dust made there that stops aging indefinitely, but there's plenty dangerous things you can find out in those wastes, too. Giant sandsquids, alien creatures on the hunt, desert rangers that aren't too happy to see you out in the wilds, and other prospectors that don't want to share the wealth. But there's wealth out there; the kind that can guarantee you a new ship at the very least, and a comfy life without ever needing to do another job again at most. Just as long as you can survive the search for it. ------------------------------- Desert Moon of Karth is a sandbox adventure made for Mothership 1e, with an emphasis more on a survival space western rather than cosmic horror that Mothership is known for. -------------------------------

About me
My name is Eric (he/him), yet another forever Storyteller who had their first roleplay experience with Vampire: The Masquerade and D&D 3.5 back in the early 2000's. Not long after, I ran my first of many games ever; Star Wars D20. Years later, I gained the reputation as the friend who could whip up a game session from nothing in 15 minutes. This led to some long-running campaigns of my Legend of Zelda (technically still going 19 years later) and my custom-made multiverse game Zoridock (of which I have a campaign which has concluded). I tend to run character driven campaigns that focus on heavy roleplay and narrative threads rather than combat, though I don't shy away from anyone deciding to take the heavy-handed approach. Come help create a collaborative story, one that we'll all look back on with fond memories, and more than a few epic tales to regale other players of. Who's ready for an adventure?

Creating your character
Character creation takes a matter of minutes within the Companion App, complete with full randomized gear and backstory items to help flesh out the character. Optional randomized inter-character connections rules are available.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
The game will be run on Discord [for additional play materials, audio/video], so a direct link for the Mothership Companion App session will be provided in the Discord server. Also a decent mic will be a must, with a video camera being optional. I understand that not everyone is comfortable being seen on camera, and I will leave it up to you if you choose to use video.
What The Revelling Bard brings to the table
