About the adventure
🔥 Branded a criminal and sentenced to death, you have three days left to live. But the flames that scarred you will be nothing compared to the inferno you'll unleash on those who wronged you. Enter a dark fantasy world where you play the villain, toppling a virtuous kingdom through cunning, violence and unholy allegiances. Adapted from "Way of the Wicked", this is an epic adventure path that lets you walk the path of evil, from condemned prisoner to dark overlord. 🏰 Infiltrate fortresses, desecrate holy sites, and claim an ancient demonic temple as your lair! ⚔️ Battle paladins, angels, and monster hunters while forging unholy alliances with the forces of evil! 🔮 Master forbidden magic, spread plagues, corrupt heroes, and ultimately usurp the throne to rule as Asmodeus' chosen! ⏱ Game Pacing: 1 long DM post each day in the evenings (UK time), and a shorter out-of-character message in the morning to reply to any @ pings. Additional replies/posts are subject to my availability throughout the day.

Hi there, my name is David, and I wear many hats: nerd, nurse, father and more, but on this website the crown I wear is that of a Dungeon Master! I specialize in running 1:1 duets play-by-post games, as well as high level tier 3-4+ play. I’m based in the UK and am broadly available to talk 8 pm- 12 pm UK time, which is 3 pm - 7pm EST. This is the time window that I write most my daily posts. My pricing varies by the amount of skill and time that go into a game, where simpler games such as starter adventures cost $40 a week, and more complex games like my level 20+ games cost $60 a week.

Creating your character
Characters should be created on either roll20, or on dnd beyond with the beyond 20 extension/avrae in use to roll in the virtual tabletop or in discord. Starting Level 3, you will get a free feat from your background, point buy or rolling for stats as your preference. All official content is permitted. A pet/companion is recommended and the starting level can be scaled up or down for the desired difficulty level. I am open to any 3rd party content.

How David creates a safe table
I will be using the RPG Consent Checklist as a safety tool, which players should fill out beforehand and send to me on discord. I also will talk to you 1:1 before we start about expectations, logistics and any safety concerns not covered by the checklist. Players can pause billing at any point if they want to take a break from the game, for any reason, and their seat will be waiting for them when they are ready to play again. This is an evil game so it is likely we will be going closer to darker themes than most games, and establishing our lines and veils will be particularly important before we start. This adventure will NOT include onscreen violence towards children, sexual violence or graphic depictions of torture.
