Step into Fladin, a world of crumbling marble temples, sun-baked deserts, and storm-tossed seas. Inspired by the myths and philosophies of ancient Greece, Rome, and Egypt, Fladin is a setting where mortals wrestle with destiny, ambition, and the divine itself. Will you rise as a hero… or vanish into legend? *Style*: Story-driven, cinematic, homebrew-rich *Themes*: Exploration, religion, war, politics, and adventure *Tone*: Heroic with moments of humor and introspection **Beginners are Welcome** **Character Creation**: You start at LvL 1 and will quickly grow to be a hero! Point Buy/Standard Array.

About me
Hi, I’m Gordon (they/them) — a storyteller, worldbuilder, and Dungeon Master with hundreds of hours of campaign experience. I’ve spent the last few years crafting worlds full of vibrant NPCs, dangerous mysteries, and hand-forged magic items you won’t find anywhere else. My goal is simple: to make every session feel cinematic, personal, and unforgettable. Whether you’re a new adventurer or a veteran of countless quests, I’ll help you bring your character’s story to life — and shape a world that remembers your actions.

Creating your character
I gladly assist with the character creation process. Starting level is usually between level 1-3. Both standard array and point buy are allowed Leveling is based on a milestone system, where you level up roughly every x sessions (with x being your current level). I also give out some free feats - usually at lvl 1 or lvl 4.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A microphone and a working computer with Discord is usually all you really need. We are using: - Discord for the communication, - DnDBeyond for Character Creation and Management, - Roll20 as a virtual tabletop I gladly assist in setting up the necessary accounts, or help you to create the perfect character for you.
What Gordon brings to the table
As your GM, my goal is to create a rich, immersive world where your characters feel like they matter. I bring strong narrative structure, deep worldbuilding, and a flexible, player-focused approach to every session. While I’m not a voice actor, I bring scenes to life with vivid descriptions, dynamic NPCs, and meaningful choices that make your decisions impact the world around you. The campaign runs on D&D Beyond for character and inventory management, and I’ll be sharing access to a wide range of official resources. But I don’t stop there— I love homebrewing my own content: Expect unique monsters, custom items and flavorful feats tailored to your party’s skills and choices. If you enjoy discovering things you haven’t seen before, you’re in the right game. Combat is run on Roll20, where I use detailed battle maps—either hand-crafted or bought from talented artists—to give fights tactical depth and visual flair. I also like to bring scenes to life with images and props that add color to exploration and dialogue-heavy moments. I’ll usually have my camera on, but there’s no pressure for players to do the same. Whether you're playing in your PJs or with full dice-rolling energy, you're welcome at the table. Finally, while I respect the Rules as Written, I fully embrace the Rule of Cool when it enhances the moment, supports your character’s vision, or keeps the game flowing. If you’ve got a creative idea or cinematic move in mind, I’ll do my best to make it happen.

How Gordon creates a safe table
Session 0 is completely free. We use Session 0 to finalize the character concepts and discuss both our Lines and Veiles, as well as our Stars and Wishes. If someone doesn't want to announce a line/veil publicly they can send it as a message so I address it for them. For longer sessions we take breaks, especially after particularly tense moments. After a session I usually stick around to discuss any potential issues, listen to feedback, or just to chat about what happened. Themes such as combat, religion, and moral conflict appear, but we adjust tone and detail based on the group’s comfort level.
