About the adventure
This game will be beginner friendly! We'll be playing the official D&D 5th Edition Starter Set to give you an introduction to the game and is structured in a way to be friendly to new players. The starter set comes with pre-generated characters if you're stuck on how to play and don't know what you want to do, but as always if you have a character idea run with it and let me know so I can prep ahead of time for you.

About me
Hey, nice to meet ya! (I'm awful at bios). I've been playing D&D longer than I can remember, but I think it's around 8 years? And for that time I've been DM'ing for 7 of those years. I enjoy storytelling and seeing how different people approach different events and challenges, it always gives me a smile when players find a new way to overcome an obstacle that I didn't plan for! I wanted to start hosting games as a way to meet new players and hone my DM'ing brain even more! I hope to see you in game soon for lots of laughs, maybe a bit of sadness, who knows what happens when we start rolling the dice!

Creating your character
Preferably characters will be created before the game begins, however any issues or questions with character creation please feel free to contact me either here or on Discord.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Make sure you have a working mic for Discord chat while playing and have your character sheet completed, once the game has reached it's minimum players I will send invites to Foundry to everyone involved, please take this opportunity to create your Discord accounts if needed. It'd also help if you could supply me with some artwork of what you see your character looking like so I can create a token for you, again, if you don't have this or are using a pre-gen character let me know and I'll handle to artwork.
What MJFenners brings to the table
As this is a VTT (Virtual Tabletop) I will provide character sheets and tokens for Foundry, I will also bring pre-gen characters for those who don't want to—or are unable to—create their own characters. I will also provide maps for the VTT for ease of tactics/battle.

How MJFenners creates a safe table
Players can expect a nice balance between combat and roleplay that will be adjusted to meet the needs/wants of the group. As always, if there is anything that you do not wish to hear or see in the game please contact me privately to let me know so I can make sure this does not appear. I run open and friendly games but I understand some topics that may seem perfectly fine in general may not be to individuals.
