About the adventure
The Verant family's heiress, Lila, was kidnapped days away from her arranged marriage. The family's matriarch eagerly awaits her daughter's safe return, possibly for reasons beyond motherly concern. Either way, she wants the job done quietly until she's ready to send a message. The Missing Daughter is a great introductory scenario for Blades in the Dark (BitD), emphasizing player choice and moral dilemmas. Enhanced with: 🔹Pre-made characters for each playbook (character type) with unique hooks. 🔹Easily referenced cheat sheets for Roll20 and BitD. 🔹Handouts, maps, and art for immersion and a smoother experience.

About me
Hi👋, I'm Franc, better known as Golvin. I'd like to be your GM. While I mainly run D&D, Call of Cthulhu, and Alien RPG, my real pleasure is trying new modules and systems. (Cowboy Bebop RPG anyone?) Which has led me to a specialization in running one-shots, often including highly detailed handouts, pre-made characters, and other player aids. I also write the Reviews from the Far Reams Substack newsletter, currently focused on helping others get the most out of Call of Cthulhu 7e modules.

Creating your character
Players can create their own character or choose one of 5 pregenerated characters. If desired and given notice, I can provide assistance with character creation. But anyone who has not chosen by the time the game has rolled around, or given insufficient notice, will have to choose a pregenerated character.

Safety
How Golvin - One-Shot GM creates a safe table
As part of onboarding for the game, I send players my Line & Veils and ask for theirs in return. Which are then confirmed at the beginning of the session as part of a mini-session 0. During the game, if anything disturbs you, please tell me, leave an "X" in the chat, or privately message me. I will then remove the offending or skip past it. Likewise, if you feel the adventure is going in an unsavory direction but use an "N" instead. I will also check in if I notice anything is off.
