About the adventure

The village of Townsburg holds a Thanksgiving celebration every year. Each year they empty their prison and sacrifice the inmates to be eaten by giants as a way to give thanks to the giants for not eating them the rest of the year. Tradition is beautiful. This year, the jail was a little low, so they "hired" a group of adventurers to stop the giants. The giants however, easily overpowered them, stripped them of their gear, and brought them into their castle in the sky to cook up for dinner. YOU are these adventurers. You are trapped in the oven. No weapons. No magical gear. If you escape the oven, your only tools are your own wits, and whatever you manage to scrape together from the giant's kitchen. Will you be able to escape before the giants come back or die in the attempt?

About me

Hey, it's me. Your favorite dungeon master's favorite dungeon master. I've been running games in D&D for almost 12 years. It's absolutely my favorite thing in the world, and I love sharing that passion and care with my players. I've done everything from swashbuckling pirate adventures to Victorian era mystery to wacky goblin shenanigans. I've run campaigns for seasoned Min-maxing veterans, and 11 year old girls who have never played before (harrowing). So grab your dice, put on your (insert class here) hat, and let's make some memories. Character creation

Creating your character

Level 6. any mundane armor, but no weapons, spellcasting foci, or magic items. No flying species No twilight domain clerics All first party content is allowed. anything third party, clear it with me before assuming it's allowed. I have a DNDBeyond account with most content available that I can make available for you, but since it's a one shot, if you want to pen and paper it, or plug it into roll20 before the session, that's also fine.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You *NEED* at least a roll20 and a Discord account. If you have DNDBeyond, you're more than welcome to build your character there. I will need a portrait for your character at least an hour before the start of the session so I can make tokens and get things set up.

What CM the DM brings to the table

For this One-shot, the expectation should be for effectively a "one room" dungeon crawl. I'll have music and a wonderful map via Czepeku. Creative solutions are encouraged and the rules are lighter to allow for some wiggle room, since you're effectively tiny people in a massive kitchen.
