About the adventure
Your character is an Astral Guardian -- imagine Sailor Moon, Card Capture Sakura or Madoka Magica. The setting is modern day Earth and strange monsters have begun invading the world. Your characters are ordinary humans who have the ability to transform into a magical girl, boy, or person. In this powerful form, you have all your D&D class features, species features, and background feats. These monsters are immune to conventional weaponry, bullets, missiles, explosives don't seem to do anything. But your weaponry and magic, in your Astral Guardian form, seem to do the job where humans can't. But while you are effective guardians, you must be careful to keep your identity a secret. Many people believe the Astral Guardians are directly responsible for the monsters appearance, even calling them "Astral Terrorists" in defiance. After all, is it really a coincidence these "Guardians" and these monsters both just so happen to start appearing in our world at the same time? There are reports of violence, doxxing and threats against individuals who are discovered to have these powers. many of them go into hiding. You need to manage your real life dramas and problems all while defending the city from monster attacks.

About me
I've been GMing for about 6 years now and love every second of it. I greatly enjoy crafting little sandboxes for others and just letting them run wild and seeing what antics they come up with. I rely heavily on collaborative world building with the use of "yes and". I've run fantasy settings with Dungeons and Dragons, Cyberpunk settings with Shadowrun and old timey horror settings with Candela Obscura and Call of Cthulu.

Creating your character
Your characters is a college freshman, moving to a new city for your school. Some time ago, you unlocked your Astral Guardian form when you had some type of massive spike in emotions. These emotions can be tragic or traumatic, or something very heartwarming like seeing a loved one you thought died come back from a war. After this spike of emotion, a familiar has made itself known to you and bonded to you. Only you and other Astral Guardians can see or hear it. This familiar can take any form you wish, an animal, tiny person, tiny little space alien, or just a blob. Your character will have a normal "human form." In which they only maintain their ability points. And they have their "Astral Guardian form." This Astral Guardian form will give you access to your weapons, class feats, species feats, etc. When thinking about your Astral Guardian form, look up images of Sailor Moon, Madoka Magica, Star Guadians, or Shugo Chara for inspiration. They tend to be bright, colorful and follow a color scheme.

I am by no means a voice actor, but I try to use different tones and accents for different characters, I tend to re use voices but only if those characters are never going to be in the same room. I rely heavily on rule of cool. I care more about a cool/funny story than "sticking to the rules."
