About the adventure
Welcome to the terrifying land of Barovia. I have DM'd this module from start to finish many times and know it very well. There is homebrew expanding on underdeveloped NPC's and areas. The monsters used in the module have been expanded so you don't need to worry about fighting the same old pack of normal wolves. Please message me if you have any questions. I hope to make a campaign that feels alive, as such, please take some time to create your character's backstory. I am more than happy to help you through that process so we have something that is interesting and enjoyable for you. I will ensure our adventure is welcoming and inclusive to all players. Barovia is a messed up place with terrible people and your characters will have a rough time but you as players should always be having fun. I am open to any criticism you have as we play and will do my best to provide a fulfilling experience.

About me
I aim to create an immersive and engaging experience. I don't want this to be just a weekly "Kill 1 monster and mark off a task" adventure. I want the characters and NPC's to feel alive and for the players to feel that their actions have real impacts. If you enjoy bringing your character to life, then this is the game for you. My campaign will be an inclusive and friendly place. It should go without saying that there will be zero tolerance for racism, sexism, homophobia, and any kind of exclusion or harassment.

Creating your character
Leveling up will be through milestones pre-determined throughout the land. Character Creation: ✓ Point buy or Standard Array; ✓ 2024 classes. Legacy subclasses allowed. ✓ Free feat at level 1, other than the ASI feat; ✓ All official options available. Critical Role sub-classes and feats also allowed; Motivation: Your characters are stuck in Barovia during the campaign. Why does your character want to leave Barovia? Do they have family? A chance to win gold? An estate to run? A business to manage? Optional Secret: It can be fun to think of a secret your character could have. It doesn't have to be a secret lineage, but just something you wouldn't want strangers to know;
