About the adventure
Welcome to the Odyssey of the Dragonlords, where you and your fellow adventurers will take on the role of prophesied heroes. Summoned my the Oracle and tasked with saving Thylea, you will embark on a legendary quest that the world has not seen for 500 years. As your DM I will personally work with all of you to craft a character fitted for the setting, go over the options unique to this adventure and find the Epic path you will personally complete during the campaign. These paths are above and beyond normal character creation, have deep meaning to your character, with difficult tasks and very powerful rewards, fit for a legend of Thylea. This campaign does run from level 1 to 15, it is a long term commitment which is what I am promising you. I am not a long winded DM, I will not waste your time, drag out encounters or scenes. I am also not looking to fill this campaign to it's limits. I will maintain a 4 player group to ensure you are all actively participating and getting my attention, which you deserve. If you have any questions feel free to message me and I will reply promptly.

About me
So I started playing when DnD 3.0 came out, into 3.5 and years of pathfinder. Played blades in the dark, l5r and a few other games and some vtm larp for 5 years or so. Came back to DnD in 5.0, ran a home game. Now currently running two successful games on roll20 and looking to do more with my skills.

Creating your character
I will work with each player individually to create your character and weave your background into the setting and the story, as well as selecting the appropriate Epic path each hero will experience. This will be done previous to the first session and it will not cost extra.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
I will add everyone who joins to our Discord, just used for this campaign so we have privacy and you have my attention. As well as invites into the roll20 game for maps and interaction. I will also provide access to the players handbook for the setting.
What Jeffrey brings to the table
Using discord and roll20 we will have a great base for interaction. I will also incorporate music into the setting with a playtogether website, that you can listen to or if you prefer not, players choice. I do roleplay heavily with anyone willing to do so, altering my voice as needed and bringing different personalities and demeanor to the NPC's you will encounter. Not everything is written into the rules, if you have an idea, I am looking to bring it to life. This is a legendary adventure and I want to have you experience legendary moments. I do have hard rules at my table, I find these help keep everyone focused and immersed. Manners are extremely important, do not cut me off, do not cut other players off, if I hear someone trying to speak I will make sure to call upon them so they are heard, no one will be left ignored. I usually will call upon each player individually to find what they want to do and then progress through those actions, some shorter or longer. Also during the session I do not allow any "One Time" stories, that means no one goes into a story about a previous game or session they played. I know it might sound harsh but if everyone does this we would lose an hour or more in a session and I don't think thats a fair use of the time you are generously paying for.
Homebrew rules
I don't have any homebrew rules, but I am open to ideas and adjustments if needed during the game.

How Jeffrey creates a safe table
Before the game starts I will personally talk with all players and ensure we agree on limits and expectations of the game. If I find someone crossing those lines I will stop them and have a private talk after the session to make sure they understand the rules of the table. If anyone during the session feels uncomfortable they are encouraged to message me, alerting me privately to the issue and I will move the scene away from that situation. Also I love to check on my players between sessions, I maintain open lines of communication at all times.
