About the adventure

2290: The Brotherhood of Steel's efforts to bring Project Purity to every major body of water in America has finally made its way to Lake Erie. Wastelanders flock to settle around the purified freshwater source, rebuilding the mysterious Sixth City to the economic powerhouse of The East Coastal Commonwealth, renaming it, Rusthaven. 2293: The Wahoo Massacre results in The Brotherhood of Steel pulling out of Rusthaven, leaving behind a power vacuum big enough to attract opportunists from across the wasteland. 🎨 My game style for this campaign is a blend of what I would consider, "Tactical and Survival-Lite" with a focus on narrative, immersive roleplay, and pacing. I have modular systems ready to plug into the game based on the group's needs (ex: Base Management). In short: I want to make TTRPG New Vegas. 🌏 A passionately crafted campaign setting that's faithful to the LORE, TONE, AND FEEL of the Fallout universe, drawing inspiration from the history of Cleveland, Ohio (for better or worse). 🌈 LGBTQ+ 🚀 Neurodivergent 👨🏾👩🏽 Any Nationality/Race/Gender AND BEGINNER FRIENDLY! 🏴‍☠️ This game aims to capture the tone and themes of the Fallout games. So naturally, it contains dark subject matter. With that said, I don't use it as an excuse to be a creep, and I like to think I'm pretty good at maintaining a safe environment. 📖 Just like in most of the games, there is a central tension/conflict going on in the setting that the players don't have to get directly involved in, though the consequences of the conflict will have rippling effects on the players regardless. There are factions to get involved with, places to discover, mysteries to unravel, settlements to conquer, and caps to be made. I also take the time to create personalized story hooks and narratives for every PC. 🎞 CINEMATIC COMBAT and ROLEPLAYING by utilizing the Talespire VTT, Voices, Sound Effects, and Music (adjusted to the group's taste). -

About me

Utilizing 20 years of experience as a "Forever DM" supported by a long career as a working musician and entertainer, I try to give my games an immersive, cinematic flavor. To achieve this, I use Talespire VTT (no purchase necessary) for its camera capabilities, music, lighting effects, and ambient sounds. I use voices as well, but I wouldn't dare call myself a voice actor. I'm just that annoying guy you knew in high school who did cartoon voices.

Character creation

Creating your character

I always run a free session zero, but you are free to create ahead of time as long as you're willing to adjust to the game when needed. I use the D20 Fallout System and there's plenty of material online that you're free to use.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You'll need a steam account (Free), Talespire: Guest Edition (Free through Steam) and Discord for voice.

What GMGodEmperorDude brings to the table

My stylistic approach to this campaign aims to recreate the feel of Fallout: New Vegas to the best of my ability. I use voices, camera effects, sound effects, and music to enhance both roleplay and combat. I mostly try to stick to the rules with occasional exceptions for the rule of cool. With that said, this campaign can be deadly for wastelanders who don't watch their step...or their back.

Homebrew rules

I have none at the moment but I'm open to ideas from the group!
