About the adventure
Welcome to a realm where joy and dread intertwine! Step in as members of the Witchlight carnival on your quest to get back to your coworkers through the Feywild in this re- imagined D&D5e classic! This game aims to give newcommers and returning players alike a go at the WBtW module with a fresh dose of Autumn vibes. Your character will be a member of Whitchlight Carnival going through hoops and tight ropes as they try too catch up with the circus after getting left behind. Why did you get left behind though? This campaign focuses on roleplay, exploration, and creative problem-solving. Combat is possible, but many encounters can be resolved through wit, charm, or clever choices. Expect eccentric characters, talking objects and questionable morals.

About me
Heya there! I'm Gizi, long-time nerd and a lover of life! Been playing RPGs since 2021, and GMing since 2023! "D&D 5e" has always been my go-to, but I dwell on "Pathfinder 2e", "D&D 3.5", "Daggerheart", and anything smaller TTRPGS I can help support. We can play in Spanish or English! I´ve got no preference. Communication is crucial!!

Creating your character
All official races and classes are allowed. If you wish to play something different, please let me know. Your character will wake up after a horrible night with their head pounding and mouth stinking of gin. The hammock you sleep on the carriage is gone; how odd. As a matter of fact, the carriage is gone; and the carnival that comes with it! But every time you try to remember what happened the brain fog sets in. For one reason or another your character has a reason to stay with the carnival, had a position as a main or side show in it, and knew at least 2 other people in the carnival. But every time your mind goes to thinking about the carnival owner brain fog sets in.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll need a Microphone, D&DBeyond, Roll20 or OwlbearRodeo, and Discord.
What Andrés brings to the table
The game will involve a lot of silly voices, music and art during the game; some of it will be custom made for the game completely free of any charge for the players to take and use as they wish. I thrive on dynamic elements during combat so if there is something you´d like to attempt with a feature or a spell that is not in the rules, please let me know what it is that you want to achieve and we can find a way to make it real. I enjoy combat fast and loose with Rule of Cool always on, and stopping the game to look at rules is not ideal with the limited time we have.
Homebrew rules
- Drinking potion is a bonus action but you always roll. If you take it as an action, it heals max. - Crunchy crits or exploding dice. - Death saves can be seen only by whoever´s rolling it and the gm.

How Andrés creates a safe table
We´ll be sending a Lines and Veils document for review as well as going through any main topic in the game that may cause an issue over session 0. At any point during game a player may tell me if they want to move on from the current scene without having to explain themselves.
