About the adventure
This series is focused on those prospective GMs who are haven't run or are new to running TTRPG games. Discussions will be about how to run session zeros, considering what material to run, benefits of online versus in-person gaming, the very basic steps of being a GM, and what things to have on hand when running a gaming session. The hope is that this will be a discussion and not a lecture series. While topics will be presented, time will be dedicated to get input from those participating on the subjects and what insights they might need or might have considered.

About me
TTRPG gaming appealed to me from the first moment I was introduced to it because of its co-operative storytelling and its enabling of one's imagination while still keeping things within a structure. I've been a game master for almost as long as I've been playing and it has been a fantastic experience. As someone who isn't as easily socially connected, it was liberating to take on different personas, be different people, and learn more about myself and others along the way. As for me, I am a forty-something who is office bound by day and soaring through fantasy and scifi worlds by night.

You will require a Discord Account along with a microphone to participate in voice discussion. We will have the discussion in a Discord server which you'll have to join.

I will supply a structure through which to inform our discussion as well as handouts that you can keep to remember the initial subject matter.

How Ris creates a safe table
Our very first session will be a discussion on Session Zeros and will include setting the expectation and tone for the series - a session zero of the series itself. I will also allow for Stars and Wishes to better cater for those in attendance.
