About the adventure
It is 149 BCE. The Legions of Rome prepare to strike out over the sea and to march on the Phoenician city of Carthage. The Seers of the Blood of Malkav have issued dire portents should the Baali clan succeed in their plans to unleash the terrifying Earthbound in the Phoenician city of Carthage. Thus, the Elders of Roma have influenced the Roman Republic to declare war against Carthage. In addition to the Roman legions, the Elders of Roma are dispatching a force of 50 Kindred under the command of the Night Senator Xerphones of Thrace. Where will your loyalties lie as Rome engages with Carthage in one of the most stories campaigns of the ancient world?

About me
GM since 1980, I run games you haven't heard of. Indie and non-Hasbro games are my gig! I wrote 'How Humakt Learned to Grieve' for the Jonstown Compendium. I run Star Wars, RuneQuest and other non-Hasbro games. I use safety tools such as lines and veils, X-card, brief and debrief, bleed management tools and others. My table is an explicitly safe BIPOC/ND/Queer/Trans/LGBTIA+ space as I am queer and nuerodivergent myself.

Creating your character
Once accepted into the game, players will receive a Discord invite to my server. This will be a Theater of the Mind game, with a V5 dice roller bot available. Special character creation rules to represent the era will be shared. All currently published clans from V5 and it's supplements will be available. Session Zero will be for character creation and will be a free session.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Make sure to send me your Discord handle so that I can invite you to my Discord server. You should also have access to your own copy (physical or PDF) of the core V5 rules.
What Chris brings to the table
This will be theatre of the mind, with heavy emphasis on horror and dramatic RP, with an emphasis on immersion in the Roman period of 149 BCE. Your characters will hail from the Italian peninsula. However, deep knowledge of history is not required.
Homebrew rules
Normally, none, although I will be making custom Discipline amalgams and Loresheets available.

How Chris creates a safe table
