About me
Hey folks! I've always loved gaming and storytelling, but it really clicked for me when I started running small games for family. There’s something special about bringing people together to tell a story that’s unique to the group — full of character moments, tough decisions, and shared laughter. What I love most is crafting a world where players’ choices truly matter. I want your decisions to shape the story in meaningful ways, whether it’s choosing who to trust, what risks to take, or how your character grows. Whether you're a veteran or brand new to the table, you’re part of that story. My goal is to create a space where everyone feels welcome and walks away feeling like they were part of something epic.

Creating your character
🪧 Character Creation Character creation will happen before the first session, during a Session 0 where we’ll discuss concepts and finalize details. You can choose to point buy or roll for stats (4d6 drop the lowest), and we’ll decide together which method works best. Characters will begin at Level 1. We’ll use the three 2024 core rulebooks (Player’s Handbook, Dungeon Master’s Guide, and Monster Manual) for official content. If you want to use other official sources or homebrew, let me know beforehand. During Session 0, we’ll build your character’s backstory and motivations to ensure they fit into the campaign.

What Patrick (Parshi) brings to the table
🎲 What I Provide & My GM Style When you join this campaign, here’s what you can expect from me as your GM and from the game experience overall: 🌐 Immersive Virtual Play I’ll be using Roll20 for maps, tokens, and dice rolling to create an immersive, visual experience that helps bring our world to life. 🎭 Character Voices & Ambience Expect lively character voices and carefully chosen ambient music to set the mood and tone for every scene, whether it’s tense, mysterious, or lighthearted. ⚔️ Combat Approach Combat will be strategic but fun, with a focus on teamwork and creativity. I keep encounters engaging without overwhelming you with complex tactics. While I follow the Rules as Written (RAW), I embrace the Rule of Cool—allowing daring or cinematic actions when they fit the story. 🌟 Player Agency & Storytelling Your choices will directly shape the world and narrative. I encourage collaboration and roleplay to deepen our shared story. Communication is key—if anything feels off or you have ideas, please let me know! 🎉 Tone & Experience Expect a mix of serious moments and lighthearted fun, with a focus on character growth and creating memorable encounters that make your adventure truly special.
Homebrew rules
⚙️ House Rule: Stay In Character The only homebrew rule I use is a simple one: when the game starts, please try to keep your interactions in character. This helps everyone stay immersed and makes the story more fun and engaging for all of us. Don’t worry — it’s a light guideline, not a strict rule. Think of it as a way to help the game flow naturally and keep the adventure feeling alive.

Safety
How Patrick (Parshi) creates a safe table
🤝 Safety & Comfort Guidelines In Session 0, we’ll discuss lines and veils—clear boundaries to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable with the game’s content. This helps us avoid sensitive topics or triggers that might come up during play. After each session, I’ll check in with players either privately or as a group, depending on your preference. If a session becomes especially intense or emotional, I’ll offer extra time for anyone who wants to process or talk things through. 💬 Communication & Tools We’ll use Discord and Roll20 for quick and easy communication during sessions. If at any point you feel uncomfortable, you can use the X-card system to pause or change a scene. You’re also welcome to message me privately to pause the game or adjust its pace and tone. 🔄 Ongoing Feedback I encourage open and ongoing feedback throughout the campaign. I’ll regularly check in to make sure the game remains a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for everyone.
