About the adventure
In a world where monsters lurk in the shadows, teams of hunters gather to push back the rising tide of darkness. Set in the modern day, this beginner-friendly Monster of the Week campaign combines the charm of folklore with the secret horrors of the SCP universe. This weekly game is geared toward players who wish to have a fun game without the obligation of sticking through a full campaign, with no requirement to create a character (premades are available), and the option to keep to the same character from week to week if desired! Each week features a different monster, a different story, and a guarantee of laid-back, easy-going fun! So... will you join the hunt?

About me
Hello! I'm a laid-back and fun-loving gal who enjoys playing and running TTRPG's. I've been running games since I was in High School, and continue to do so today, across a wide range of systems, but with a particular love for indie games. Many games that I run either feature some slice-of-life or have a strong roleplaying focus, with a smattering of some comedy and combat here and there. All of my games are LGBTQIA+ friendly, and often bear plenty of representation across the gender spectrum as well as the neurodivergent spectrum, as well as disability representation. Additionally, I do not run any games with the assistance of AI, so you can count on every game being lovingly crafted by organic hand! Outside of gaming, I have a passion for coffee, writing, and fiber arts. So what do you say? Shall we brew up some coffee and roll up a character?

Creating your character
Pre-made nameless character playbooks (character sheets) will be provided at the start of each session for players to choose from. Additionally, handouts will be provided to help assist gameplay, especially for newer players.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All that is needed is a PDF reader and a Discord account, and your imagination! New players are welcome, so there is no need to have read the rules prior to the session!
What Morgana M. brings to the table
I will provide form-fillable character sheets so as to expedite play, as well as MotW handouts, and will run the game via Discord. For all Monster of the Week games, I run the game following Rule of Cool and Theater of the Mind, with occasional images as applicable. As always, I enforce a policy of inclusiveness, which includes NPC's. Each session will be run as separate stories within the same universe, so that players need not be obligated to stay for multiple games if they do not wish to. For those who wish to play but are non-verbal, I also ensure that there is a text-to-speech bot integrated into the Discord server. Additionally, I encourage new players to give the game a try! All experience levels are welcome!

When my cat meows during session, she bestows a one-time +1 to any roll during the session, once per session!

How Morgana M. creates a safe table
Prior to the start of each session, I will have a discussion with the group as a whole, to ascertain key triggers which will be kept in mind and expected to be respected by all players at the table without exception, and to ensure that all players are made aware of the open-door policy. Every session will include a 15-minute break (not included in charged time) to decompress and/or have a bio-break. During the course of the session, as the need arises, any players who encounter a trigger may either speak up per Luxton Technique, or to take a break as needed, per open-door policy.
