About the adventure
You have woken to find yourself in possession of a card from a Harrow Deck that is drawing you to the Grand Bazaar in Absalom. There you meed other folks that have also received cards and felt the pull. What you find in the Grand Bazaar sends you all on an adventure to recover the deck and save the future of Golarion. If you don't have the time to carve out the time for an online session, or prefer to play on-the-go, Play by Post is for you. As long as you have a smartphone, a tablet (that you have wi-fi access on), or a computer, you can play in this game. As an asynchronus game, you can interact at times that are good for you.

About me
My name is Katabri. I have been playing TTRPGs since 1980. I did take a break to raise my kids, but kept up with material. When I came back to Dungeons and Dragons, it quickly became apparent that the easiest way to play in a game was to run it myself. So, I've been DMing for about 15 hours per week since January of 2023. I enjoy running DnD 5e and Pathfinder 2e games and endeavor to bring a fun and immersive experience for all my players.

Creating your character
You will create your characters in Pathbuilder using the Free Archetype and Ancestral Paragon variant rules. If you need help, feel free to ping me in our private channels. All common ancestries are available. If you would like to play an uncommon or rare ancestries, we can talk about that in the private channel. All Pathfinder rules are available on Archives of Nethys (http://https://2e.aonprd.com/), a great resource!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All YOU need to play is a device with Discord installed (and a FREE Discord account) and the willingness to check the server once or twice per day. Use https://pathbuilder2e.com/ to build your characters and post your character sheets before the campaign begins and at every level up in the appropriate channel.
What DM Katabri | The Benevolent DM brings to the table
We will be using Discord for just about everything in this game. Maps will be provided as snapshots from my Foundry server during combat or for overall continent viewing. Utilizing Tupperbot, we will have unique PfPs for all characters and NPCs (separate from your personal Discord PfP). Combat will be handled by utilizing the dice-roller bot (in the channel provided.) Bot commands will be pinned to the top of the general chat of the group. I bring extensive DM experience and a willingness to work with players to include elements of their backstory into the campaign. The more you give me to grab on to, the more opportunity your character will have to achieve personal goals. I will be checking the server several times a day to interact with players and move the story forward.

How DM Katabri | The Benevolent DM creates a safe table
When you join the private Discord server, you will be given access to the Monte Cook Safety Checklist to fill out and return to the DM. Your payments will go thru on the day listed in this listing. A list of the rules will be in the server, along with any homebrew rules that the DM and players agree upon. If something questionable comes up, each player will have their own channel with the DM to bring up any concerns.
