About the adventure
"Our Campaign begins with a startling revelation that is sweeping the World. Worship...is waning. The time of the ancient gods has long been over. The gods left the realm of this world--nigh omnipotent--and filled from the worship they received from living beings for hundreds of millions of years. Content on being worshipped and having sacrifices made to them by billions upon billions of living things, the gods never imagined a time when humanoids would simply begin to...forget them...and not need them anymore. The greatest fear of the gods has finally come true, when for the first time in all of existence...a god...has died. Terror sweeps the world as humanoids overrun temples and flock to priests begging for safety and help, horrified by the simple realization: if something exists that can destroy gods, then surely humanoids are next? In light of the events that have shocked the world and rippled through the Cosmos, Malnon, the god of Statera, assembles a team of humanoid beings gifted with the most natural potential of their respective Class; and he charges them with restoring the Sacred Balance to the World, while not tipping the scales for either good nor evil. After forging a trail of success for the past four weeks together, this powerful Party of warriors seeks out the truth behind their ordained paths as they battle monsters, stand against oppression, reveal powerful secrets, and defy gods in order to preserve their world." This is the Game where you will start at Level 1 and progress all the way to Level 20 and keep playing. This is a Campaign where you don't have to be the best actor or the best role-player, because you will be playing with a DM who guides you every step of the way. And if you are a great role-player, so much the better...you will have an entire world to interact with where every choice matters and consequences are real. I run a Table that is fun, inclusive, engaging and where you're always asked in-game, "What do you want to do?" About me
I am a Harvard educated Dungeon Master who has been playing D&D and running campaigns for over twenty years...and I'm still young. (I started early!) :D I love Dungeons & Dragons above all other tabletop games, and I have crafted a most daring, fun, exciting, dramatic and fulfilling Campaign that I could imagine. I can't wait to find my Six to reveal this world to, and experience this great new Campaign with.

Creating your character
All characters in the Official Campaign will be created with D&D Beyond stats & rules applying. This will happen before the first Game with a Session Zero I will conduct for the Table. D&D 2024 5e Rulebooks apply. Character Attributes will be distributed with numbers pre-selected by Malnon, so there will be no need for manual rolls in the creation of your character. We are also a straight-class Campaign, so there will be no multi-classing. All characters will start at Level 1 and will be given a Homebrewed Feat that will help enhance gameplay to the next level.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Accounts on: Discord and D&D Beyond are absolutely necessary, with Zoom web cam sessions being preferable for the Table. These programs are all widely available internationally and are available for immediate download. All programs should be downloaded before the beginning of Game 1. For full integration into the Campaign participation in Malnon's Discord Server is highly recommended.
What Malnon brings to the table
First and foremost, I am a Storyteller. D&D is about us going on a great journey together...and having fun! I keep the fun front and center, I prioritize your characters (what you say & do is canon!), and we deal with villains you'll be plotting against in your sleep. If you want a truly grand and all-around amazing D&D experience with high fantasy, powerful magic, thrilling and inventive Combat, and a storyline that keeps you hooked...this is the Table for you. I utilize sounds and ambient music rarely, but it does happen. Every character is able to use their own Rule of Cool moment every month, and we stick to the rules but don't vibe with Rules Lawyers as Malnon makes a quick ruling on a question so that the Game is not held up. The only thing I expect players to bring to the table is a fun and engaging attitude, and lots of enthusiasm for our Campaign...your DM will handle the rest.
Homebrew rules
I have Homebrewed 3 Feats, 3 Team Rank Feats, and the Blessings of Malnon which affect each player, individually, and in dazzling ways that grow with your character as you get more and more powerful. A few other Homebrew rules exist (blessed unlimited ammunition, fall Prone on Nat1's, can attack on Bonus Actions if you didn't move) but that's about it. This is a pretty Homebrew-light Campaign, but the Homebrew that we do have is enthralling and it enhances our Game in amazing ways.

How Malnon creates a safe table
Malnon's Server has the rules that the Table must abide by, and we discuss what's acceptable and what's not during Session Zero. However, it must be stated that no unsafe, threatening or unprofessional behavior will ever be tolerated. All problem players will be reported to StartPlaying immediately.
