About the adventure
Welcome to Avangarde, an original fantasy world where your character's choices genuinely shape the fate of kingdoms and gods alike. Your adventure begins in the fire-blessed kingdom of Lyricia during a time of rising tensions between ancient magic and technological progress. Whether you're a refugee from the dragon and eldritch-controlled north, an escaped citizen from the technology-obsessed Ferriscar Empire, or a native Lyrician caught in the political upheaval, your backgrounds will drive the story forward. This campaign welcomes heroes, villains, and everything in between - moral complexity is the norm, not the exception. I run cinematic, character-driven campaigns inspired by Critical Role and Dimension 20, featuring voice acting for major NPCs, atmospheric music, and theatrical presentation that makes every session feel like a movie. Your character development happens through meaningful choices rather than just leveling up. When you broker peace between warring guilds or choose to support a rebellion, the entire political landscape shifts. Future sessions will reference your past decisions, and the world will feel truly alive and reactive to your presence. Creating your character
Characters will be created using Point Buy system (27 points) at Level 1. All official D&D 5e races and classes are allowed- some custom races as long as they don't inflate power beyond natural scope and are use mostly for aesthetic/looks, with custom backgrounds strongly encouraged to tie into the world's political landscape. Character creation happens before Session 0 with GM guidance - I'll work with each player individually to integrate their backstory into Avangarde's kingdoms and conflicts. We'll use Foundry VTT for character sheets, and I'll provide a world primer with kingdom information to help inform your choices. Session 0 will be free and happen ideally on a different date whenever people are around before the official session start.

What Walker White brings to the table
An engaging world and sandbox where players can endeavor into the endless world and achieve impactful success and conquest as desired. I provide in-depth voice acting, (when my throat isn't ready to die) collaborative story telling, providing music from time to time, embracing rule of cool over rules as written. Create items/features/augments/monkey's paw affixes to further bolster and enrich the mechanical engagement of classes. Can be super flexible towards role-play intensive or combat intensive parties. Every character can and will get spotlights, and your backstories become living parts of the world that affect future storylines.
Homebrew rules
Drinking a potion is a bonus action, flanking grants advantage on attack rolls, custom items, spells, feats and evolutions for player characters (Optional and up to the party), custom mechanics like movement actions (Optional and up to the party), luck roll mechanic.

How Walker White creates a safe table
Session 0 includes comprehensive safety discussion using Lines and Veils to establish boundaries around content like violence, romance, politics, and personal triggers. I use X-Cards (digital in Discord, normally as a direct message) for real-time consent. The campaign involves political themes, moral complexity, and fantasy violence - all content warnings will be discussed in Session 0. I maintain an Open Door policy where players can discuss concerns privately, and provide debriefing after intense sessions. The goal is collaborative storytelling where everyone feels safe to explore complex characters and situations.
