What Ashlin brings to the table
I absolutely love using thematic music from shows, movie, games that have a similar vibe to the campaign. Combat can be intensive with enemies that have unique abilities. I love rule of cool. If something makes sense for a story moment/character, ill allow it even if its not in 5e rules.
Homebrew rules
Drinking potion is a bonus action, critical hits do double damage( for players and enemies), critical failures have impact, Rule of Cool, homebrew classes and races, homebrew monsters/ rules

How Ashlin creates a safe table
In session 0, we'll go over rules like respecting other players, consent, no party combat unless both players consent. We'll go over the themes of the campaign, how its a horror setting so go over trigger warnings. If any player feels uncomfortable, they can say or type "X" in chat and we move on to another scene or do something else. If we're approaching something uncomfortable, they can use "N". To check in with everyone, use "O".
