About the adventure
Embark on 13 thrilling, self-contained heists woven into one cohesive Dungeons & Dragons campaign that takes you from levels 1 to 12. Each mission, from museum break-ins to vault infiltrations and train robberies, brings new challenges, twists, and high-stakes excitement. All players are welcome, whether you’re a newcomer or a veteran rogue. Characters skilled in stealth, deception, and misdirection are encouraged (but every crew needs a muscle or two for when things inevitably go wrong). The campaign will run for about 13–18 weekly sessions, with scheduling finalized once the party is complete. A free Session Zero will set expectations and guide character creation before the adventure begins. If you love clever schemes, daring getaways, and the chaos of plans falling apart, this table is for you. Grab a seat, and let’s prove that Thieves Can!

About me
Hi, I'm Gills! Professional writer and host by day, and a Game Master at night. I primarily GM Dungeons and Dragons but dabble into other TTRPGs as well like Mausritter, Skellies, Kids on Brooms, etc. My pillars of play are primarily roleplaying and combat. I'm also a board game nerd as well as a paleontology geek (so if you're really into dinosaurs, I'll make sure you can ride a Therizinosaurus in my games). I've ran these following campaigns for my players before: - Wild Beyond the Witchlight - Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk - Dragon of Icespire Peak - Chains of Asmodeus - Light of Xarexis (A Spelljammer Adventure) - Turn of Fortune's Wheel (A Planescape Adventure) If all of these sound interesting for you, let me know so we can schedule a table for you and your friends!

Creating your character
We will be creating your characters in the session zero. Although you can do your conceptualization in advance. Remember that this is a heist campaign, so it is encouraged that your characters would be good at the following: thievery, espionage, disguise, distraction, talking, scouting, and scrying. You can use any platform you own to make characters, even pen and paper. We will be primarily using official DND 5e material but you can go for homebrew subclasses, races, spells, and feats but only when they are shown to me in advance.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please do have a Discord, and Owlbear Rodeo account setup. Discord will be used for video calls during the session and Owlbear Rodeo will be used for maps, minis, and rolls.
What Angelo brings to the table
- Immersive roleplay with distinct character voices for every scene. - Creative and engaging combat encounters that keep players on their toes. - Curated background music to elevate the mood and storytelling. - Official Keys from the Golden Vault adventures and official art to bring the world to life. - A homebrew last session to tie everything together.
Homebrew rules
I use the better critical strike homebrew rule where instead of rolling twice for the damage of a critical hit, you instead get the max number on your first die and roll on the second one.

How Angelo creates a safe table
We'll go over the safety tools in detail on the session zero but I personally use X cards, stars and wishes, lines and veils, session zero, and aftercare.
