About the adventure
a band of weary travelers hiking a long and treacherous gravel pass through the forest at the base of some mountains they become enveloped in mist. the land becomes flat and more like plains than forest, The gravel road leads to a village, its tall houses dark as tombstones. Nestled among these solemn dwellings are a handful of closed-up shops. Even the tavern is shut tight. A soft whimpering draws your eye toward a pair of children standing in the middle of an otherwise lifeless street. "Please help us there's a monster in our house, our baby brother is still inside, and our parents are trapped in the basement won't you please help us?" She then points to a tall brick row house that has seen better days. Its windows are dark. It has a gated portico on the ground floor, and the rusty gate is slightly ajar. The houses on either side are abandoned, their windows and doors boarded up.

characters will be level one you can make your character beforehand or in session 0. There's also pre generated characters in the module to help with quick play, indecisive players or newbies.

How Grim "The Lucky Bastion" creates a safe table
in session 0 we will discuss character creation backgrounds, professions, and motivations. as well as discussing any hard to approach topics, triggers etc. with the utmost care and compassion by establishing a comfort scale with an open-door policy if at any point the content is overwhelming, we can pause discuss and move on accordingly we will have a pre-game prep and a post-game debrief.
