About the adventure
Introduction, Beginners, Quick Progression The title says it all, how we get there is a mystery for us to uncover together. Starting from a free session zero we will build your character appropriately for the setting, go over basic rules and any questions that are brought up. Then the next 10 sessions of mystery, wonder, intrigue and panic will be played via theater of the mind using discord as you level up at the end of each session.

About me
I'm a father, husband, and U.S. Army veteran who's been playing TTRPGs since I was introduced to AD&D at age 10. I started DMing at 12 and got serious at 16, mainly running World of Darkness games. While in the Army, I continued running WoD and explored D&D 3/3.5e. Since 2022, I’ve been running 5e and currently serve as an in-house DM for a weekly game at my local game store. I love storytelling and giving the players agency with their actions and decisions making a real impact in the world.

What T.J. brings to the table
I provide my players with a comprehensive story line that is engaging and challenging. Rule of cool can trump RAW depending on the situation. Players will be made to think through problems, navigate through interactions with characters of varying station/class, and piece together information to fully understand the grand scheme of things.
Homebrew rules
Potion drinking is a bonus action. Critical hits: Instead of rolling damage dice twice, the second roll is automatically max.

How T.J. creates a safe table
During session 0 players will fill out TTRPG player safety sheet and we will go over what will be avoided during the session. X cards or fade to black will also be used during active play. Then at the end of each session I will asked about questions or possible concerns anyone may have. Finally you can contact me directly to inform me if you had an issue or foresee there being an issue either in game or with another player.
