About the adventure
This campaign will involve whatever your D&D interests may be: intrigue, combat, role playing, etc. Create your own class, style, and theme. Have sidekicks, create a home base, lurk in the shadows as a vampire, play an Ogre protecting a dungeon, rule the sea as a pirate king. Don't worry about creating an OP character or class. we can We can have an in depth conversation before signing up to decide what will be the best for for you and your interests, and to see the best way I can accommodate. The only requirement I have is to keep it on or near Faerun. I am familiar with DMing primarily on the Sword Coast and will be able to authentically utilize that world, lore, calendar, etc. I will be able to provide audio of myself and video of combat which will be streamed with physical maps and minis. I ask for a relatively flexible schedule. I am typically available in the evenings, but my schedule changes at times. We can have a standing date, but may have to change dates if needed. Regardless of when you are charged for the game, I will host a session every other week.

About me
Greetings Adventurers, My name is Patrick and all my life I have lived in my own little fantasy world. Admittedly, I am somewhat new to tabletop games with my interest in D&D starting at the peak of Covid in early 2020. Ever, since then, I have been hooked. I have been a GM for primarily Fifth Edition D&D and am currently running a multi-year, in-person campaign. Additionally, I DM two single-player campaigns over discord for the past few months. I have also GM'd a number of one-shots and have been a player in a number of different games as well. I am often researching rules, world-building, writing, and purchasing new minis and terrain pieces. Not a day goes by I am not creatively inspired or exploring a new fantasy. I'm a big video gamer as well and have been quite influenced by traditional and fresh ideas from games, books, and movies!

What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players need a Discord account as well as the ability to speak and listen through Discord (microphone, speaker, headset, etc.). Additionally, players should be able to watch video/stream and type/text as needed. Upon signing up for the group, I will invite you to the Discord Channel where all of the session will be taking place.

How Patrick creates a safe table
The player and I will discuss in detail the best way to communicate and voice both of our opinions, styles of play, boundaries, comfort levels and other challenges that will come up. Ultimately the player and I will use the X, N and O both in text and during sessions as needed. There will also be an open door policy for the player to leave at any time for any reason. Additionally we will have communication out of character as needed.
