About the adventure

You’ve been hired by Argentia, an ancient silver dragon, to watch over her only child, Zyphyra! Zyphyra is a curious, headstrong wyrmling with a taste for adventure. Your task seems simple: keep the dragon safe and help them see the world. In practice, it’s far more complicated. Journey across seven fantastical wonders, from tournaments at High Castle to the deep halls of Stonehold, the soaring towers of Sky Port, the bustling desert bazaar of Dhahabi, the sunken ruins of the Sunken Isles, the serene Azure Peak Monastery, and finally the Lantern Festival at Sakura-no-Miya. Along the way, Zyphyra will challenge knights to duels, hunt for treasure, race skyships, and face trials of spirit, leaving the party to manage both the chaos they create and the dangers of the world around them. This is a lighthearted, high-fantasy adventure for players who enjoy exploration, roleplay, and episodic, story-driven fun. Each stop offers a self-contained mini-arc with its own challenges, puzzles, and memorable characters, giving the party plenty of opportunities to shine while keeping an eye on a very powerful and unpredictable ward. If you enjoy clever problem-solving, whimsical adventures, and seeing the world through the eyes of a reckless young dragon, this campaign is for you.

About me

I’ve been playing tabletop RPGs since 2014 and have served as the primary GM for my group for most of that time. I’ve run a variety of systems, including D&D 5E, homebrew games, and other TTRPG systems. Along the way, I’ve also designed some of my own games and adventures. GMing has always been more rewarding for me than playing, and I’ve focused on honing my skills in running engaging, well-structured sessions.

What sensenmennel brings to the table

I’ll provide tokens, maps, and visuals on Roll20 so the world feels immersive. I’ll set the tone with background music, but you’re free to mute or use your own. I know the rules inside and out and will assist wherever needed. I also embrace the Rule of Cool, so if you come up with a clever idea, I’ll help make it work even if it’s not strictly in the rules. I’ll try to use voices, accents, and descriptive narration to bring each region, NPC, and wonder to life. Your choices shape the story. Zyphyra's antics will create chaos, but together we’ll make it fun, memorable, and full of surprises.

Safety

How sensenmennel creates a safe table

This is a lighthearted adventure, and you likely won’t encounter heavy or disturbing topics. However, to make sure everyone feels safe, I’ll provide a Lines & Veils checklist before our first session so you can let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to avoid. If any topic comes up during play that makes you uncomfortable, you’re always free to take a break or speak up. Your comfort is important, and we’ll work together to make the game enjoyable for everyone.
