About the adventure

Underdark Descent is a gothic survival campaign for D&D 3.5 Edition, uniting three of the most acclaimed adventures ever published — Seeds of Sehan , Kingdom of the Ghouls , and the final act of Night Below — into one seamless, terrifying descent beneath the world. What begins as a jungle investigation into vanished explorers quickly unravels into a nightmare of undead empires, ancient gods, and abolethic madness. You will crawl through forgotten tunnels, bargain with ghoul kings, and ultimately descend into a drowned city where the last light of divinity flickers and dies. Act I – The Seeds of Sehan A ruined jungle temple hides a secret cult worshipping the Hunger Below. Missing explorers, strange sigils, and a spreading darkness pull the heroes toward a mystery older than humanity itself. Act II – Kingdom of the Ghouls Pursuing the cult into the Underdark, the heroes uncover an empire where the undead reign as nobles and mortals are livestock. The ghoul aristocracy has allied with something that speaks from beyond the grave — a divine hunger waiting to awaken. Act III – Night Below The journey ends in the blackest depths of the Underdark, among the aboleth savants who guard Sehan’s prison. Here, thought, memory, and flesh merge into one — and the gods themselves are devoured. Only the strong will return to the surface… if they can remember who they were.

About me

Hello everyone! Greetings from Greece! I've been delving into the world of roleplaying games for over 15 years now, with around 10 years of experience as a Game Master. While my heart remains true to the timeless allure of DnD 3.5 edition, I've also developed a fondness for running Cthulhu, Savage Worlds, and I'm always eager to explore new systems. My passion lies in fostering immersive roleplay, orchestrating epic battles, and crafting captivating adventures that leave players on the edge of their seats. As a business owner, I cherish the flexibility of my schedule, allowing me to delve into professional gameplay experiences for the sheer joy of it, while seeking players who are equally devoted to character development and the intricate tales that unfold. Beyond the gaming realm, I find solace in horseback riding, and I've also found myself drawn to the world of arts, wearing the hats of both a singer and an occasional actor. Initially, my journey into acting was motivated by a desire to enhance my skills as a Dungeon Master. However, my profound love for the arts, including playing the piano and professional singing, has led me to embrace the world of theater, where I've actively participated in numerous productions. Looking forward to connecting with fellow enthusiasts and weaving unforgettable stories together!

Creating your character

Starting level: 4 Alignment: Any non-evil (morally gray neutrals welcome). Backstory hook (2–3 sentences): why you joined the jungle expedition / who you must protect / what you fear underground. Ability Scores 4d6 drop lowest, arrange to taste

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Before Session Zero: Join my Discord (link provided after booking). Create a Roll20 account — that’s our VTT. Bring a level 4 D&D 3.5e character, built using 4d6 (drop lowest) and arrange to taste. Non-evil alignments preferred (or morally complex neutrals). Write a short backstory (2–3 sentences) explaining why your character joined the jungle expedition. All books from the 3.5 Core + Complete series are allowed. Psionics and high-tier optimization discouraged — this campaign thrives on story and atmosphere.

What Antigoni brings to the table

I run narrative-driven, atmospheric campaigns that balance character drama, exploration, and tactical combat. Rules as Written foundation, Rule of Cool applied for cinematic flow. Ambient music, lighting, and tone-driven narration for immersion. Choices have lasting moral and emotional consequences. Expect heavy atmosphere — think Baldur’s Gate II meets Darkest Dungeon. You’ll feel the walls closing in — and the story evolving around you.

Safety

How Antigoni creates a safe table

This campaign uses a simple but effective safety structure: Lines & Veils: In Session Zero, we agree on clear boundaries for tone and content (no sexual violence, no harm to children, fade-to-black for anything sensitive). Session Zero: We’ll cover expectations, tone, character ties, and world themes before play begins, ensuring everyone’s comfortable with the story’s darker elements. That’s it — simple, respectful, and story-first.
