About me

Hi! My name is Joaquín but you can call me Joa or J! I am an argentinian GM that started playing before 2019, I started with games such as ICRPG and Quest, my games are focused on player fun and roleplay, I love games such as Vampire The Masquerade, D&D and Mausritter. I use consent forms and the 3-card system to make the game as comfortable to everyone as possible. If you want a latinoamerican GM with a taste for games with hijinks and chaotic ways of destroying the status quo, I'm your guy!

Character creation

Creating your character

We will create our human characters during the first session (free session zero) and play a prologue if we have the time, the characters will be created on Roll20 and with the point distribution system given by the core rulebook. After the prologue the playable characters will be Childer (really young vampires). You can refer to both the core rulebook and the Vampire The Masquerade: Players Guide. You can refer to more official rulebooks, but please notify me so I can read that one too! :D TL;DR: you might refer to everything Vampire you might like as long as it is official and notified, if you don't have the will or find it confusing, don't worry! I will explain and help over the free session zero.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

We will work with Roll20 for communication, rolls, and character sheets. Also, if you have spotify premium, that's a great plus :) no worries if you don't have it! We'll find a solution!!

What Joaquín brings to the table

I will use spotify or other apps for music and ambience, I sometimes do voices, sorry! I am not a serious GM and usually let Rule of Cool happen if RAW is boring and stiff. I do not tolerate constant crossing of set and sound boundaries. Combat may vary as the players might see fit: large-scale skirmishes might be few and at the start of sessions.

Homebrew rules

- You can stop being a thin-blood - Your clan 'colors' can take some time to show up (gives leeway to Caitiff players and undecisive ones too)

Safety

How Joaquín creates a safe table

I use Lines and Veils with an anonymous forms document inspired by the Monte Cook Consent Checklist, X, N, and O's will be provided digitally but you can message them too or do as you please, held up on video is useful too as we will be using roll20. We will also talk about safety and consent on the session zero, I believe the systems listed above work well to start the talk and prove useful as a backbone of the real structure: talking and checking on the real people. It's a two part system the same as every ttrpg: you have the raw rules and then player communication. I will not tolerate people who belittle other player's feelings or create a hostile environment
