About the adventure
Welcome to the City of Syber, a magepunk adventure where fantasy, future, and freaky collide! Equal parts Samurai Jack, Cyberpunk Edgerunners, Adventure Time, Ghost in the Shell, and Blade Runner: Foil the schemes of the nefarious Dr. Brain, slay the data sucking undead bytes, or plunge into the trap filled depths of The Labyrinth. Syber is an asynchronous game played via discord messages allowing you and your fellow arcane adventures to interact with the game world whenever you have a free moment. It uses the Daggerheart system ruleset with all current player playtest material such as the Brawler and Witch allowed to craft the hero of your magitech filled electric sheep dreams. Whether you're a seasoned roleplayer or just getting into Daggerheart for the first time Syber is for you!

About me
Hi I'm full time game master Dungeons&Dragonfruits! I believe in working together with you to craft one of a kind stories that revolve around your characters and themes YOU want to explore. All of your decisions and goals matter and will have a very real impact on the worlds we build together! Despite an intimate understanding of the rules, for me the gamey aspects take a backseat to delivering peak cinema. Each and every moment whether it's haggling with Grubgobble the local goblin merchant or fighting the solar dragon Sunscar in a galaxy spanning battle will be something truly awesome to remember! My goal is to paint a picture in your mind so vivid you'll hear the dramatic music, feel the ogre breathing down your neck, laugh and cry together with the npcs! Roleplaying has always been a huge part of my life, I've been running sessions as a game master since I was 12. It's something that holds a very special place in my heart and I hope to share that passion with all of you! 📚I've partnered with Seedz of Literacy, a small local nonprofit organization here in Bradenton Florida that aims to provide books, educational services, and more to everyone! 10% of my profits go toward supporting this wonderful organization and helping them grow! Creating your character
Once the campaign has enough members to start play, you'll create your characters together establishing how each member of the party is connected and what sort of common goals you share! Play starts at level 1 using the standard ruleset for daggerheart. All official test content from the Void (Assassin, Witch, Warlock, Brawler, Aetheris, Earthkin, Emberkin, Gnome, Skykin, and Tidekin) is on the table, if you wanna take any of them for a spin go for it! Characters can either be created on Daggerheart Nexus or on form fillable character sheets that I'll provide on the discord. If you're new to daggerheart or don't have the rulebook don't worry! Everything you need to make your character will be right at your fingertips.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you'll need is a discord and tupperbox account and you'll be ready to play! You can also use Daggerheart Nexus for characters if you'd like, but its totally optional. A link to the discord server we'll be playing on will be provided upon signing up!
What Dungeons&Dragonfruits brings to the table
For me the goal is to have fun and make the scenes we play out together as awesome as we can, not get bogged down by strict rules and distances in feet. Instead of worrying how long the chasm is, tell me your crazy plan to cross it! The real magic is in the social interactions and bringing the fantastical world of the game to life together! You'll encounter a motley crew of characters oozing with personality in an adventure truly shaped by your choices and wants as players. There's no path you're forced to follow, no inevitable outcomes. You want to be brave heroes fighting the Arcana Intelligence uprising? Smugglers of morally gray magitech? Run a magical sushi restaurant? All three at the same time? The story is whatever you choose to make of it!
Homebrew rules
🎭Reskin: Its already in the base rules but to emphasize as long as it fits the campaign's vibe you are absolutely free to reskin any ancestry, class, weapon, domain card effects, or any other aspect within reason to fit the vision of your character. Use mixed Simiah natural climber/Ribbet long tongue to play as a Spiderfolk, make the sorcerer a dream weaver whose minor illusion is bringing nightmares to life, change your magic so it's actually artifice or cryokinesis. Sky's the limit! 🧪Official test content such as Warlock and Emberkin are all allowed. Also the new stuff is pretty awesome definitely check it out!
